The meeting hall in Itami Castle. On either side of the room are a row of short desks each a foot and a half off the ground, and a futon behind each desk for sitting. In the centre of the hall is the Lord's Desk.

Asthor has bumped into the land tillers state representatives once again and has apologized to them in more suitable clothes."I'm really sorry for the way you saw me for I was simply building my house." Asthor says. He then high tails out of there with his cloak leaving a trail.
As he arrives at the meeting hall he see's that he is the only one there so he decides to stand there and admire the beauty of the room that he was in. How did this all happen in 2 months, Asthor thought whilst waiting for the crowd. Once more he leans against a wall deep in thought about his embarrassing moment Infront of the state and how he was now more properly dressed for this.

Luckily for Asthor the Land-Tillers were hardly offended. They weren't dressed in particularly fanciful clothes either. Jun was armored, and the druids and archers were in standard equipment for their purposes.
As they made their way into the meeting hall, they too admired the beauty of the room. It was impressive, seeing as Aozora had only recently started building their civilization.
Jun would refrain from interrupting this time. She remembered her place. She was just a bodyguard. She just needed to relax and watch.
The druids took their seats around Asthor Sneak. "Thank you for welcoming us. As we were saying-" She shot Jun a slightly dirty look. "-We are the Guardians of Gaia. We are a special group under the Land-Tiller's Expanse. We help protect the earth and forms of life against those who would do it harm. And part of how we do this is by helping people develop agricultural practices that work in harmony with nature. We are here because we would like to help Aozora develop its farms. We believe with our assistance your people can make efficient farms that use less space, so you won't have to clear out as much forest."
Jun would make a noise, something like *cough* "diplomatic relations" *cough*.
The elven druid nodded, slightly embarrassed. "AND IN DOING SO, we hope to establish friendly relations between our two nations, because, you know... that's important too. Not everything is about the holy earth, hehehe... he, he..."
Jun took a deep breath, satisfied.

"Welcome, sirs and madams. You, miss, I remember you from Aaedan. It's good to see you again, I believe I saw you at that summit as well. Anyway, I'll let Asthor here handle these talks, I'll be here observing." Shintaro had recognized Jun, one of the people he'd fought alongside against the undead King Jorech. Shintaro sat back and with his elbows perched on the armrests of his new chair, his hands together and he watched the meeting commence. If he felt he needed to say something he would, but he would mostly let Asthor handle this.

"Well, as you all probably know I am Asthor Sneak and...um yea," Asthor introduces himself quite shakily, but he tries to remember what they said specifically. He didn't talk again for a few seconds.
"This is the first time I've done a negotiation in Aozora, so I'm a little nervous, to be truthful. So let's get things started, shall we. I know that you guys come to help us make farms, but I am quite afraid that our surrounding areas aren't the safest at the current moment, but I know that we are working on it." Asthor spoke on the farming part of the deal.
"So now as to attend to the establishing a relationship part I would like to know more about the Land-Tillers Expanse, because, unfortunately I know very few about your group. But if you want to please tell me more of your countries background." Asthor said, wanting to know a little background to the nations needs/wants.

The fair elf smiled politely. "Oh it's quite alright. To be honest, as individuals we're rather new at this whole thing too. You see in some ways we're not that different. We had barely hand any exposure to the outside world a few years ago. So as we're getting to know all the different cultures, we're finding out how diverse and frightening the world at large can be. But that's what makes it so interesting. We elves have had it even worse, since our people were hidden for thousands of years in the Expanse."
She thought for a moment. "Huh, where to begin. Our nation wasn't even a nation until a couple of years ago. We are a collection of clans that make up what we call the Land-Tiller's Tribe. We are all united by our desire to live in harmony with nature. Our industry is somewhat underdeveloped, and so we import manufactured and luxury goods from other nations. However, our agricultural knowledge is second to none. We have a relatively small armed force made up of elite mages and warriors, people who really enjoy combat, because most of our people are peaceful."

Her skin is dotted with battle scars, and her left arm is heavily bandaged due to an unknown affliction.

Jun shyly raised her hand to interrupt. She was looking forward to a nice peaceful mission but, oh well...
"You said the surrounding areas aren't that safe. Would you like some help making them... safer? Because I could probably help with that. My name is Jun of the Celadine Clan. I was chosen to be an escort for the Guardians of Gaia, but since it's relatively safe here I wouldn't mind leading our archers into the forest to help clear out whoever is making the place unsafe."

Shintaro would explain the situation. "This land, formerly known as Fareen, is dominated by Bandit Lords. We're planning on constructing forts to help in defense so that our farmers can feel secure. We encountered these bandits when we first arrived in this land and have had a few altercations, at least one of the bandit gangs has a mage which creates traps that unleash golems. At the moment we're working on building up and strengthening our forces, training the men into a more professional army, before we go all out hunting the bandits down and freeing the towns under their control.
The most prominent gang of bandits that we know the location of is based in a town called Taloum, west of here near an old watchtower. I've had spies infiltrate the place but they were almost captured and I had to send a rescue party, while escaping we smashed up their gate and burned down one of their storehouses. While inside we didn't see any civilians, but we assumed that they were in their houses, not allowed to come out at night. I wasn't planning to do anything about Taloum until I had a large enough elite force to threaten the bandits inside."
((I'm asking the Fareen account player if he could make a bandit encampment that is a more immediate threat that isn't holed up in a walled town.))

Asthor listened to all that both parties had to say and then got really nervous as he began to speak again to the elf ,"I have heard that you are really in touch with the Earth. Well here in Aozora we do have a few plants that are unbeknownst to the rest of the work so if that's something you would like to look into, we do have that on the table. I also know that the Steelscape has sent miners and that our mines shall be up and running if you would wish for metal to update your armor."
"Now I am not that sure about the other resources that we may have available at this point in time, but as with all trade we would like to know some more specifics into your resources." Asthor then proceeded to get up so as not to slouch and take a moment before speaking again.
"Ok I'm not sure how Shintaro would feel on that many more products but I'm nearly positive we will need help clearing some bandits out of the forests. Jun if you would really like to I could see your help as useful."

"Steelscape? I don't know much about them. I believe they are a part of Isra, yes? It is good they are helping your people." The elf smiled warmly. She could sense Asthor's nervousness. "As for our resources, we could certainly bring it food and herbal medicines, and bamboo which could be used as a building supply. We could also see about creating some dwellings using earth magic, which would mean you wouldn't have to clear the forests for as much lumber. Our mountains have a fair bit of semi-precious stone. We could also bring wooden magic staves and bows and arrows.
She nodded as she went over the resources Aozora had to offer. "We would greatly appreciate access to metal armor. Because so much of our armed forces depends on mounts, we are in dire need of light weight cataphract style armor for our animals. And of course we don't mind learning about more species of plants."
In consideration of the bandit camp, the druid deferred to Jun. "What say you about the bandits?"

Jun also sensed how nervous Asthor was. She decided she would go ahead and slouch with a friendly smirk.
She flicked some hair out of her eyes and took a deep breath, and thought.
"Ok, well, I'm in favor of using guerilla tactics to pick off any patrols they might have, and using the archers to snipe at their defenses. With some preparation time I could probably take out their stronger mages and melee warriors. We have to be careful because we don't want them to take the villagers hostage. I'd also prefer to take as few lives as we can. We should be like a force of nature to them, make them surrender rather than let them think they can control us."
She then turned to the warlord. "But you may have a point about waiting. If we attack when we're not ready to defend, the other bandits might seek retribution against your borders. But now that you are allies with of the other nations, you might be able to get reinforcements. So it's up to you. If you wanna wait we can wait, but if you wanna start fighting back at them now-"
Jun lazily raised her hand in the air. Her sky blue sword Resonance appeared in her hand. "I'm ready to go any time."

"Well I'll leave the war part to the warlord and his generals, for I am but a diplomat here in this situation," Asthhor speaks, this time more confidently than before. He glanced around at the elf and then at Jun. They both had friendly smiles! Before going on he recalls what they have and would like.
"Now here in Aozora we have little to none bamboo, so that would be appreciated for our developing nation. As to the stone I personally think that it would benefit our defenses and structures." Then turning more toward the elf he spoke not shakily," I think that we do have a few herbalists now in town and with the Itami-cho market we shall have enough materials for you if you just tell us what you want. " The bamboo and stone was the most interesting to the young diplomat, for they had always been,... odd to him.
This time turning towards the warlord Asthor sat straighter in his seat and asked,"Are there any more major resources that I forgot to bring up?"

"We're getting metal from Steelscape to create more weapons and armor and having these improved farmlands will be just wonderful, to have more efficient agriculture and such. Stone and Bamboo is always useful. Mercernaries are a resource we've yet to tap into, if Jun is willing to work with us we could launch a combined task force to secure the region. There are some forward encampments that would be advisable to take care of first, since they are an immediate threat compared to Taloum.
"If you remember that that large spider, there are supposedly more magically enhanced creatures to the south, but they don't tend to roam away from the chasm much. Some of them might have natural armor that can be harvested, which we can then trade. As for the magical staves you've mentioned, we don't seem to have anyone with magical talent among us, the closest thing is my lieutenant Ram jam, but his power is more psionic rather than spell slinging and he himself is a warrior."
Shintaro finishes up with this. "My scouts have located many of the encampments around our territories and marked them on the map. The only reason I haven't taken care of them myself is that I didn't have enough elite soldiers to take up the task of hitting multiple camps at once, if we were to only attack one, the others would send reinforcements. But if we put together a united taskforce we can make a calculated assault to purge the bandit scum."

"Ok, well it sounds trade between our peoples could be most prosperous. Thank you Asthor. But before we do anything else, we need to take care of these bandits. Our party of druids isn't trained to fight, but we might be able to use our magic to help build and reinforce your fortresses. Meanwhile Jun and our archers should be enough to take on one of the bandit camps. How do you want to deal with the others Warlord Shintaro?"
Jun would remain silent, sheathing her sword and watching the others intently.

Age: 17
Physical Description: Quite tall at 6'1, Hansel has a pale complexion coupled with nearly white blonde hair and a set of heterochromatic eyes. His boyish features are well defined but covered in many small scars. The young man's frame is best described as sinewy with significant muscle placed upon a relatively thin body. Across his body one would find many cosmetics scars, brands and a few tattoos be it of scripture or strange tribal symbolism. However most noticeable are the two large wings on either shoulder blade, and the cross on his chest and back crossing his breast from stomach to neck.
Clothes and Equipment: Typically Hans will wear a bodyglove of buunvar leather, over which is blessed chainmail and plate. His preferred weapon is a moderately sized Executioner's sword of Hagbane silver with the end rounded and sharpened to at least pierce flesh. However for sidearms he carries a powerful longbow and an ensemble of Holy falchion and dagger.
The lad also will usually possess a mount; either a blessed horse, pegasus or hyppogryph. The beast will always carry heavy barding and bears a lance and kite shield for its rider.

Hansel would come in alone, wiping his boots before entering. He didn't know if that was required but he felt that one should do it anyway. All of his weapons upon his back. He would keep his helmet on. He did not particularly like his own face with all it's scars and missing bits. His helmet though... it symbolized purity and holiness, things he adored. Standing to attention with hands crossed behind his back, he would look to the ceiling, and calmly announce "You summoned me, Lord?" to the room.

"Take a seat, flanking me." Shintaro waves to the desks to the left closest to him. "We shall now discuss our strategy for dealing with the local bandits."
A map would presented for everyone to see. "This is the latest map our scouts have drawn up with the locations of bandit activity marked. While getting this information some of our scouts have been captured, they're either dead or being held captive. Right here on the road is where we first encountered the bandits, they used a magical rune to spring a trap, summoning golems to attack us, so they have some sort of Mage working with them. We won't be attacking Taloum right away though, first we need to take care of these three major bandit camps between us. Once they are cleared out, our territory will be secure and we can plan our next move.
"The First Camp is built on the river, closest to the road. If the patrols are taken out they can be snuck up on easier since they're right next to the roaring water. The encampment is only wooden pikes for wall and no gate with its back to the water.
"The Second Camp is the largest and most secure, with 5 watchtowers. It is in the forested region near the hills. We don't know exactly how many bandits are there, but we've counted 2 cooking stoves, we can assume each stove feeds 10 men but there may be more. They seem to have a lot of horses here, it would be good for us to get these.
"The Third camp is situated in a Quarry which we've had our eyes on for some time. They have archers camped up on the ridge but once they are dealt with, the encampment is boxed in. However it's not that simple, we've seen them corralling people in and out of the quarry, we're guessing they are civilians from Taloum, enslaved to work the Quarry and the Mine in the back."
"Now that's the three encampments, once they're taken care of we'll send word to each other and decide what to do with everything we get. Now then, who will take each camp?"
