The town gate is a recent addition, as the wall has begun construction. Trade and travelers pass through here to enter the town.

A thin young man with five feet and six inches to his name. Long, greasy black hair tops his head and green irises fill his eye sockets. Being of fair complexion, he gets sunburn rather easily.
Clothes and Equipment:
A dark navy blue cape rests on his shoulders with an attached cowl hanging behind his head. His tunic is a medium brown, about the shade of an oak but a little darker. His hose are white, but often grayed by dirt while his shoes are only ever brown. Mimnus has a pair of leather gloves that he wears sometimes, but they aren't always with him.
A short sword with a blade of two feet in length rests on his left hip, a short bow sometimes accompanies him on his walks about the streets but is always with him when out of town. In his coin pouch is also a 'lock master's' (thief's) lock picking kit, invaluable for jimmying locks and safely disarming traps.

Mimnus had stolen rented a horse (without permission) from a land far off enough that one would want to use a horse to travel from it, and here Mimnus sat atop the horse admiring the front gate of Itami-Cho. Mimnus's cape was crossed under his arm and across his chest so as not to create drag for the horse and, since he wasn't trying to be sneaky, his cowl was down. Mimnus's bow rested unstrung on the horse's back, the string was wound at the bottom of his coin purse with his tools and a quiver with a few arrows sat behind the bow.
Mimnus looked about, noting the guards and any construction workers that might be on shift today.

The Ao soldiers were working with the Guardians of Gaia to build up Itami-cho's defenses and farmlands. Guards are posted at the gate as usual.

Mimnus would see an odd sight. Nearby were several men and women, including fair-skinned elves, in druid robes. They appeared to be helping to reinforce the gate and adding new walls using earth magic.  A vine-like structure would integrate itself freshly made adobe walls.
These people were on friendly terms with the guards, but unfortunately did not have the authority to grant the new man safe passage. They might wave amicably but otherwise ignore him. He would have to wait a short while for a guard to speak to him.

Here at the gate is where Shintaro gathered his rescue squad, this included The Sparrow and Dimitri . "Here's the situation, I've gotten word that Lady Osma Gaiman has been abducted by these pests that have been screwing with us. She was last seen in the meadow, we'll begin our search there. Osma's safe retrieval is our first priority, killing the Kiggies is second." |

Dimitri, ever clad within his full plate armor and full helm, was waiting patiently around the back of the group. He wasn't here overly for the request to rescue someone in distress. He was here more to see the area and learn a bit more about it. Though his interests were of a higher priority to him, he would still pull the mission through.
He was a terrible eyesore amongst the majority of the squad, what with being at least a head taller than most of the men there.

The figure would appear in the distance, making an easy stride towards the construction site of the gate. Upon arrival she would stop, looking about at what was underway - and just in case a guard or soldier saw it fit to stop her.

"Good day, huh, yes, I believe we're looking for explorers. There's still a lot of territory around us that we haven't charted and we want to eventually expand to the ocean." A guard responded to Michael Zeliph . "If you want to explore, you can get a contract from the guild in town saying we'll pay you to survey the land." Michael would be directed to the place where he could start his adventure in the Bazaar, there he could meet other explorers. |
