The Swan took in the changing countenance of Dmitri, her nose able to get the scent of a beast from him. She remained quiet and still, however, until Nishida gave the order that she needed to move, and move quickly, and do whatever was necessary to halt whatever it was in the forest. A part of Swan thought that perhaps it was nothing but a villager, perhaps, or a person looking for mushrooms.
But with little hesitation, her cloak whirled and she was in a falcon's form, streaking through the sky, the sunlight glinting off her feathers. The bird swept into the air, a bird's eye view above the sparse canopy of the forest so close to the meadow. She picked up the shadows and the movements of Mirssa, and then the bird dove, gaining speed -- velocity!
The Falcon twisted, pinning its wings to its side as with a sudden whirl, the dark-leathered assassin landed nimbly in the loam of the forest floor, so close to Mirssa that a step from either woman would easily bring them into melee range. Her body was strung like a bow, ready for action, her arms up -- defensive rather than offensive -- and a dagger gleamed silver in the Swan's hand, the green gem of the multiple gems embedded in it faintly glowing.
"To your knees, with your hands in the air," the Falcon-woman ordered on a quiet yet firm voice, hoping that Dmitri was right behind her. Other than the Swan's sudden entrance, and perhaps having the blade in her hand, she was not as intimidating a figure as either a horsed warlord or a broad beast.

As soon as Nishida gave the order to pursue, Dimitri sprung forth with speed belying his large frame and heavy armor. Each step of his thudding loudly on the ground as he entered the forest border. With the trees spaced closer than the meadow, he would use the trunks of the trees to springboard him forward and on a zagging path. This was more to keep his approach path unreadable rather than speed up his approach. The Swam would land before Mirssa about two seconds before he himself would come to a stop a few feet to the right. A long breath escaping his lungs, echoing within his helmet. No weapon would be drawn, there was no need for one. Instead, he would keep his vigil and keep his eyes shifting betwwen, Mirssa, the Swan, and the surrounding area.

As soon as @mirssa heard the noises of the wind change to the diving of a bird, she acted quickly, she knew someone was watching. She pivoted on her right foot and spun towards where The Sparrow had landed while also drawing her sword with her momentum and placing her left foot back. The weapon was a strange cross, about the length and thickness of a machete, but curved more akin to a scimitar and heavy enough like a falchion, able to pierce chainmail. Two hands held on to the blade, as she raised it straight up in front of her, ready to defend or slash. She responded with a low growl and some gibberish when The Sparrow commanded her to yield. "Haya haya, beaceykyah dairetyeh hayujmayansay, ohre yohuj'lele bee nexte!"When Dimitri quickly appeared right after the first woman, @mirssa looked between the two, eyes shifting back and forth, waiting for the first move. She'd begin to circle the pair slowly, stepping as to try and place The Sparrow between herself and Dimitri. Two on one weren't her favorite odds. It didn't matter the victor in the end though, her job was done. The tracks and most remains were gone, they'd have no conventional way of tracking Osma Gaiman.

A sword such as Mirssa's versus a dagger such as Swan's -- it was not an even pairing, and the odds were ever not in her favor. But that did not seem to dissuade the Swan, who's serious turquoise eyes remained on the creatureling who barked words at her that she didn't understand. Her heightened senses told her that Dmitri was just behind her, and with Mirssa's first step, Swan knew what she was up to, and knew that she was not dealing with just any brawler.
So her thumb slid down her dagger, igniting the diamond stone, and she twisted, slashing outwards. She wasn't even with melee range, but that suddenly became quite clear that she didn't need to be as a BURST of a windy gale came from her dagger, that was now suddenly had a blade of wind instead of a blade of steel. That burst was meant to SMACK into Mirssa, meant to at the very least shove her backwards, and at the very best, send her onto her back.
And as soon as the Swan had let loose her attack, she followed the twirl of her momentum and she'd become a bird again, swiftly flying out of the way to leave Dmitri to take Mirssa head-on. The falcon-woman was darting through the air, no doubt to land at Mirssa's back and cage her in.

Dimitri would keep an even distance to Mirssa, one eye never leaving her. Breathing heavily to recognize her scent for that much longer. He knew not if this gnoll was a part of those responsible for taking Osma, but if she was, he would ensure that she would not escape his nose, nor the others for that matter. He would just have to follow her scent back to the hoard.

@mirssa expected some sort of magical ability from the not-so-strong blonde woman. The wind pushed her frame hard, she was staggered and stunned for the short time the gust was present. However, she could not react and stop The Sparrow from flying away, her sword could have easily sliced through her like a knife through delicious Land Tiller cheese. Now that The Sparrow had flown off and could be ignored, and she wasn't facing Warlord Shintaro Nishida, Dimitri was her primary target. She charged for two steps at him then made a mighty leap upwards. Her blade was aimed to slash downwards from her right to the left diagonally. If he stood there with no reaction, the blade would fix itself in the right side base of his neck and her charging pounce would collide with his torso, hoping to knock him down.

As predicted, the Swan swept around, twirling back into a human as she landed nimbly at Mirssa's back, but quite a few feet away.
She would have helped Dmitri in double-attacking Mirssa, and although the Warlord arrived on the scene, it seemed like neither one of the men wanted to attack the gnoll woman. This confused the assassin and had her hesitating to attack Mirssa's vulnerable back, thinking that perhaps she had misinterpreted Shintaro's orders.

Dimitri was unimpressed with the action the gnoll was taking. It would have been smarter to through dirt at his helm to blind his vision first. As it is, even if the blade hit, it would be no threat. So he let it come. Slashing downwards with deadly precision and intent. He grinned behind his helm, tilting his head to expose that part of his neck even more, and timing it with the blades speed, craning his neck towards the blade, attempting to trap it between the thick plates of his armor. If successful, he would wind both his fists to conduct a pincer punch into Mirssa's ribs, hoping to knock the wind out of her.

Shintaro moved in after re-positioning so he wouldn't get in the way of his allies. He rode right up to the Gnoll in combat with Dimitri and The Swan. He positioned with his sword to block Mirssa's mobility options further.

If successful, he would wind both his fists to conduct a pincer punch into Mirssa's ribs, hoping to knock the wind out of her. @mirssa 's blade was specifically designed to split mail and puncture plate. However, not at those angles which Dimitri had taken the hit. It'd be likely that even though the angle was bad initially, the blade would slide down between Dimitri 's shoulder-pad and neck and likely split the mail underneath, sadly, it lacked enough speed or force to do more than damage the armor. The blade became wedged in his armor like he wanted, @mirssa 's face quickly changed to disgruntled confusion as to why it was stuck and that Warlord Shintaro Nishida was coming closer. She tried yanking it out, but not before she was impacted harshly in the chest by the armored man's fists. She gave an audible yelp as she was struck, the air escaping from her maw as she flew multiple feet backwards to her starting position. After slamming down in the dirt at The Sparrow 's feet on her back, a surprised face came to her from the lack of air and the pain. She started coughing as she clutched at her rib-cage while rolling left to right slowly and occasionally flailing a limb or two, giving her attackers a "crazy look" between crying and hacking fits to keep them away. At least, hopefully. She was much too stunned and disoriented at the moment to respond to Warlord Shintaro Nishida's demands.

It took only a few seconds for Swan to land, JUST as Mirssa's hit landed upon Dmitri, and she took a swift step back as the gnoll woman was punched and sent flying due to the strength and velocity of the were-warrior's arm. The gnoll woman slid across the earth, and Swan reacted swiftly, her boot striking like lightning to kick the gnoll woman's side to the head with enough pressure to render her unconscious but not enough to snap her neck. The quick shock to the female gnoll's spinal column should put her out, but not for very long...
... just long enough for the blonde professional to pat the gnoll woman down for any weapons or other things that were not the gnoll's clothes and armor, and then quickly bind her knees and arms behind Mirssa's back.

"Hm, well then." Shintaro places his Nodachi back into it's sheathe. "I've never seen a creature like this yet, how odd, it resembles a dog. This isn't like the other creatures that have been causing trouble, but the fact that it's here tampering with the scene raises suspicion that it is in league with them. Dimitri, how are you? I saw that blade connect."

Although @mirssa was still reactive during the pain and saw the kick incoming, she had no time nor strength to effectively stop The Sparrow 's kick. She tried to brace herself for the hit, but it still would strike true in her head with a grunt. For the short moment before she got booted, she went up to grab the side of her head that was struck, but she was not fast enough, the strike would cause her to pass out from the pain. Her limbs loosened, eyes rolled back into her head and then closed, finally she slowly slumped to the forest's ground once was she was rendered unconscious. She was still breathing roughly, as her lungs were visibly heaving from the vigorous exertion and occasionally twitching. There was a small leak of red blood coming from underneath the fur on the side of her head, about where she was kicked. The sword was likely still lodged in Dimitri 's armor, if he hadn't moved it. Her knife, bow/arrows, other sharp objects, gas and fire pots a would be taken away, but luckily she still had her very own weapons... She began to stir, growling at the dirt. She was face down and still groggy from the KO and was confused as to what happened. It was all a blur, she felt her restraints through it though. Something was wrong, it was all so dizzy and muffled, likely a concussion. She was too fatigued to see and also not facing Dimitri , The Sparrow , or Warlord Shintaro Nishida , unless they stood in front of her sight, which one side of it was just dirt.

The Swan stepped away from the gnoll's side. Thrice the female had been spoken to, but she had only ever truly responded to the Swan's own quiet demand, and not in a language the Swan knew. She had her doubts that the warlord was going to be able to get a straight answer from the warrior... but her doubts were put aside when she looked with a gentle expression of concern at Dmitri. Had he been wounded?
If he had not, the Swan would then carefully look over Mirssa's things with the sort of attention to detail that one would expect from a professional. The pots she was most careful with in her study, and once they were categorized in her mind, she put all of it away into the small leather pouch at her side -- indeed, all of it fit into the small pouch, evidence that it was magic in some way.
Once she had finished this task, she took to scouting the immediate surrounding area, her sharp bird eyes looking for any possible clues with meticulous method. It was very obvious that this quiet, self possessed blonde woman was experienced in these matters.

Dimitri felt the blow from Mirssa's blade well enough. Having cut through his armor as if it was nothing. Thankfully his wedging motion as well as his training as a Warshaper allowed whatever damage to his skin quickly heal. He would slowly pull out the blade from his shoulder after the gnoll was knocked out, placing it by his feet as this could be a potential bargaining tool with this creature. It smelled female, but he did not want to assume with a species he had little interaction with.
He would be waiting patiently to the front of Mirssa, waiting for her to regain consciousness, to allow his visage to ping an emotion inside her, hopefully one of dread that she was captured. Upon seeing her stir, Dimitri would slowly and gently pick her up and set her against a tree, offering her a swig from his water skin to help her mind become clear.

Her expression still remained mostly the same, still tired and woozy. @mirssa tried to resist being picked up by Dimitri with what little strength she had, but gave up halfway, realizing it was no use. She sat leaned against the tree, her head and eyes still dozed at the ground, not wanting to look up at any of them. Even though she knew she was tied up and also at their mercy right now, she lifted her head up to tauntingly snarl at them, then slumped back down towards the ground. They wouldn't get anything out of her, not only because of her resolve, but also because she is in too much pain and not able to think clearly right now. She wouldn't dare try and drink whatever fluid Dimitri was offering her, it could be poison or some sort of drug! She sluggishly turned her head away to refuse it, she would've swatted it away if she had the energy. Even if she knew it was water, she'd rather die now after the battle rather than later in a jail or execution of a sort. @mirssa's body slowly started to slump to the side, her blurry consciousness and tense expression fading once again as her adrenaline and snarky confidence disappeared.

When her keen eyes could detect nothing near, she turned to look at the two men that seemed to be interrogating the creature that was barely responsive, and clearly in too much pain.
"We should move on," she said to Nishida, stepping toward them, sheathing her dagger. Her aquamarine eyes lined in gold then looked at Dmitri. "Your nose -- can you catch the maiden's scent from the basket and follow the trail through the forest? It seems the hyena creature destroyed the physical evidence of the trail. At worst, perhaps we can follow the creature's scent back the way she had come from."
