@huntinglegion Ketsueki strained to tug herself from beneath the limp body of the Kobold - only to find unwanted assistance. A yelp in alarm was cut short as that thick hand latched about her throat and squeezed, and hoisted her up above the ground. She struggled to breathe, hands clawing desperately at the one at her neck. In an attempt to try and get the Gnoll to drop her she lifted her remaining good leg and aimed a kick for the side of his head. This gnoll was ready for another face-kick. His other hand came up just in time to block her kick. It had hurt his forearm, but it was much better than receiving another hit to the face. He kept the pressure on her throat, as he raised her up a bit further and used the momentum to turn her so her back was to the ground and threw her towards the ground. The sheer impact would likely stun her and hurt like hell, at the most it might knock her unconscious from the impact. The gnoll had released his grip, so he could now stand over @ketsueki while she would be stunned.

Age: 15 (About 30 in gnoll years)
Physical Description: A seven-foot-tall, four-hundred pound ball of muscle, fur, and teeth. Vash is a gnoll, a hyena-like humanoid known for their slaving and marauding. His fur, charred by phoenix fire is now blackened. In the thick of battle his eyes have been known to shine red with an inner light of ferocity.
Due to a rather intense run-in with a phoenix, Vash's face and much of his stomach was terribly scared, leaving him with one milky white eye. To cover the melted flesh and exposed bone he wears a metal mask over his face.
----------
Clothes and Equipment: Vash wears plated metal armor, but little else in the way of adornments. Has been known to occasionally wear trophies of particularly fulfilling battles, but his lack of sentiment and forgetful nature means he often loses or abandons them, leaving farmers and peasants to find gruesome remains at times.
He carries with him a flail he's affectionately called Meteor, which, exposed to great heat, has unleashed new powers. Namely the ability to create a spinning wheel of fire. It also deals additional fire damage with every blow.

@huntinglegion
Slowing to a stop at the gates, Vash glanced around at the assortment of monsters now prepared to defend against him. He wasn't foolish enough to walk into somebody else's territory alone and pick a fight, but it didn't hurt to posture a bit. At least, he hoped it wouldn't. Standing up as straight as he could, he turned his beady eyes down at the goblin captain. "Take me to yer leader, I'm lookin' to join." he declared, breaking his gaze long enough to take in the sight of the other guards. Well, he'd certainly fit in here, which was likely why he wasn't stopped by a patrol. Even so, they seemed reasonably cautious of his presence now.

Vash the Black’s height next to the small goblin was intimidating, but he stood strong against the giant. “You did look like you was already ready one of us, go down that way to talk to 'er."Peering through the oversized helm and pointing, the goblin would direct him down the center road, telling him turn at the big ole wooden and cloth building, that’s where he go to talk to Nat'ia. The guard would then allow him through uncontested. Vash fit right in with the Hunting Legion’s normal outfits, except his slightly above average height. Members of the Legion scurried about on both sides of the muddy walkway, some just loitering outside drinking or talking, others ran about completing small tasks inside and out of their designated tents. Vash wouldn’t face any resistance walking down the makeshift alley between pitched tents.

When the goblin directed him without anymore resistance, Vash gave a snort, walking wordlessly past him and down the central road. Glancing around at the monsters the lined the streets as he walked, he noted the unique diversity. He had been concerned before that maybe they'd be hesitant to accept him into their folds, but fortunately it looked like he'd fit right in. Gnolls, at least his kind, tended to travel in packs, and while being alone offered her a certain degree of autonomy he'd come to enjoy, it also put a large target on his back. Adventurer's and "Heroes" didn't often stop to talk to gnolls, and him being alone would make him easy pickings. Fortunately his size seemed to keep most people at bay, which suited him fine. Heading up to the camp he assumed the goblin had told him about, he stopped outside for a moment, glancing between the guards that didn't seem to care about stopping him. Stooping to step into the tent, he glanced around, his beady eyes adjusting well to the dark. Now to spot this Nat'ia.

@huntinglegion
That harsh slam to the ground about knocked the wind from her lungs, and she writhed for only a moment before the world went dark. She was barely conscious at all, faint slivers of color somewhere in the shade that blanketed her eyes. She was completely out of it as her body finally took the last it could manage before collapsing entirely - the pain pulsing through every inch of her as she lay still on the ground. What was going to happen to her? Where was that Gnoll now? She had no idea how long she would lie there.

The guards defending Nat'ia’s tent would allow him to enter,they didn’t know why he was here, but he looked big enough and important enough they had to let him pass. Inside the tent, Vash the Black would find that it was relatively dark, besides a few blue-burning braziers to the left and right of a wooden throne constructed of smaller logs and plank, blanketed in what seemingly used to be clothes. Clothes of nobles and other high standing persons. Sitting upon the wood and clothed throne was Nat'ia, with a guard of heavy armor at each of her sides. She looked down at the large gnoll, she didn’t know him. “Who are you, and what do you want?”She said while sitting with he weapon at her side, straight to the point.

She had no idea how long she would lie there. @ketsueki would have a moment to breath, as the Gnoll who bested her would stand over his opponent to raise his hands up into the air as if he’d won an arena match. The mob surrounding the two (and the downed kobold) cheered and jeered at the Gnoll’s fancy display of using brute force take the woman down to the ground. The winning Gnoll only had a short moment to celebrate before he was attacked himself. “And she goes down, now we-” Kiznarr, emerged from the crowd of bandits from behind the other male gnoll, approaching him from behind, by the time the winner noticed, it was too late. Kiznarr reached out to grab the other gnoll’s head with his sharp claws, in the process however, a finger managed pierce the eyeball of the gnoll, causing a quick squirt of blood to be cast upon the bodies of Kiznarr, @ketsueki and the kobold just before the morning was shattered by the hysterical screams of the gnoll who’d just lost his eye to Kiznarr’s hand. Kiznarr grabbed that gnoll’s throat with his other hand and spun him round to look in his only good eye. “Mine.”He tossed the gnoll off to the side, one hand covering his eye socket as he ran away from the mob that surrounded the fight. It had grown quiet. He walked over to @ketsueki ’s side. “You sure love getting into trouble. Don’t ya?”

Stood before whom he assumed was the leader of the Hunting Legion, considering her makeshift throne and guards, he bowed his head slightly. "I be Vash. I come from slaver gnolls to join yer tribe. They lose, you gain, I am the strongest fighter among them and will fight whoever you want to prove it. You let me join, you get me blood. Me blood's strong, stronger than toughest gnoll you have. With me on yer side, you don't have to worry." he declared, glad he finally got to use the "speech" he had practiced the entire way here. He was sure that they'd be impressed, if not with his words than at least his size but if not he had other ways of proving his strength. All he needed was someone foolish enough to stand against him.

Vash the Black ’s speech was not as quite impressive as he may have thought, but it did enlighten Nat'ia that he was trying to join her side. Something she’d want a absolute beast of a gnoll to do. She didn’t need to see a performance, she could already tell he was competent with a flail like that combined with his massive strength. “You may join Vash, I will be happy to have you kill things for the Hunting Legion. You may stay within the walls, just find an empty tent, or make it empty yourself. I’ll have somethin’ for you to do soon, I wouldn’t want to waste yer time with easy jobs.”She’d remain there in case he had questions, but otherwise beckoned him out if he had nothing further to say.

When Nat'ia accepted him into the fold, Vash nodded his approval at her decision. As for questions, he likely had a few, but when the awkward silence after her acceptance filled the tent, he shuffled a bit awkwardly for a moment before nodding and making his way out of the tent. Once out in the air once more though, he felt a mixture if pride, relief, and anticipation build up in his chest. He was part of a new group now, his walk up here wasn't for nothing. Stalking along the lanes between tents, he cast about in search of a suitable tent for him to inhabit, clearly looking for the larger and more impressive partly because he wanted them to know he was important and, partly, because he just wanted to be able to sit up inside it.
Stepping into one of the taller ones, he glared at the group of goblins within, snapping at them. "Get out! This is me tent now, 'less you want to taste me flail!"

Vash would not be stopped during his awkward departure, and could continue to one of the larger tents owned by four goblins. Inside, only 3 male goblins were there at the time, one in the rear, upon seeing a giant gnoll barge into their sleeping area, fled through the back entrance. Leaving 2 of them to step up to this punk gnoll, side by side with arms crossed both about 2 feet shorter than him. “Who’s this guy fink he is?” The left one said, pointing a thumb in Vash the Black’s direction. “Yah, havin a… ‘ruff’ day?” The right one joked, causing both of them to chuckle. “We don’t play games, buddy.” The left one threatened, neither of them were pleased to be in this situation.

She could barely register who was above her or what they said. Her senses were dulling as she lost the last slim grip on consciousness. She finally gave in and was lost to the dark, her hands unfurling and lax as she went limp. Even the gruesome display that splattered her in blood did nothing to faze her.

When the first goblin scampered out, Vash was satisfied with the results, initially believing them to acquiesce to his demands. Instead, two others stood up to him, shooting off their mouths. The gnoll wasn't so arrogant he believed everything was going to go his way, and though he knew he was likely strong enough to take two goblins he likely would have been more cautious challenging them outside the camp. In here though, he worked on the assumption that even if they could feasibly win, they'd likely avoid a killing blow. That gave him the advantage. Deciding on one final intimidation tactic, he pulled his flail from his belt, whipping it around and around until the balls suddenly burst into flames, creating an orange ring where with their rapid movement.
"Then which one-a ya are lookin' ta go home with a few burns?" he snarled, progressing forward on them. Then, without warning as they were hopefully focused on the flail he lunged forward, attempting to bury his gnarly fangs into the left one.

Kiznarr grabbed his pet by the collar of her uwagi, dragging her face up to his as the rest of her body hung limp. He looked at her unconscious face, stroking it with the back of his bloody hand, admiring her uniqueness. But, it'd be time for her to be back in the tent for misbehaving. He pulled her over his shoulder, letting her dangle from his back. The two would leave the crowd behind as he pushed his way through, towards the original tent @ketsueki came from. Her rebellious streak had ended. "You will be fun.” Was all he'd tell her for the next few hours till she started to wake.

@huntinglegion
Driven to unconsciousness twice in a day. It took it's toll and Ketsueki felt it when she finally dredged up from the darkness. She hurt all over, and more painfully in some places. She could hardly get her eyes open, or even to focus when she managed to pry the lids open. She took in a conscious breath, and winced aloud as her lungs ached along with everything else. How long had she been unconscious this time...? And where was she?
Faint flickers of memory flashed across her mind, but there was little visual. It was more of what she heard - the crowds around her booing and jeering and throwing crude insults, the goblin and the kobold and the gnoll. Kiznarr - she remembered hearing him now. But she couldn't remember what he said. She just recognized that voice and probably would for the rest of her life... the clear, vivid memory of him grinning in an evil manner and that taunting voice before the blinding, searing pain of the brand as it was forced against her skin.
She had to stop recollecting. She needed to get up. To move. Find out where she was now and how to escape.

His fangs burrowed into the poor goblin’s barely armored shoulder and he groaned in pain. He reached to smack the Gnoll right on the forehead with his other arm that wasn’t being bitten, hoping it make him let go. The right goblin turned and ran to go flip open a small crate lid, reach inside to quickly grab some small fist sized clay pots. He hoped the one goblin could be used as bait while he gathered up an armful of pots.

Despite the goblin's struggles for freedom, the awkward angle he was striking him at might have worked with a weapon. But without one? The Gnoll buried his fangs in deeper, attempting to lift the goblin from the ground and shake him like a dog with a chew toy. When the other goblin ran off to do something suspicious, his ear lifted, rotating towards him to listen. He was't sure what that greenskin was planning, but he had to double down on this one first.

Find out where she was now and how to escape. @ketsueki had some rather not so good times the last two or so days, this time she’d awake in the exact same location, but with many more binds to the wooden stake. There was one across her neck (but lose enough not to harshly choke her), both her hands were tied behind the pole, and her feet were tied together. Kiznarr was here too, over in that corner, skinning the dead man, a piece of human flesh in one hand and a flaying knife in the other. The man’s right half was nearly barebones, the flesh presumably eaten by the Gnoll. After a moment, Kiznarr heard her stir, and decided to stop skinning his meal, and take a seat next to @ketsueki, still wielding a knife and a hunk of meat. “Why now, yer quite the trouble maker, Shadow. I can’t have you goin’ around like that. Otherwise I’ll have to turn ya like him.”He motioned to the man who was stripped of flesh on one side.

Finding that she was almost completely immobile was a harsh reality. She managed to turn her head enough to look about a little more... and the sight of the skinned man made her stomach twist into sickening, painful knots. She was afraid she might vomit. Even as Kiznarr came to sit beside her, causing her to squirm in a desperate attempt to keep as far away from him as possible, she struggled to tear her eyes away from the man that had become a horrible dinner to the Gnoll. The stench of raw, rotten meat from the beast made her reel.
She was certain this was an Oni... nothing else could be so vicious and disgusting. She managed to squeeze her eyes shut and try to turn away from Kiznarr - whimpering out a string of foreign words under her breath in prayer. This was a terrible nightmare she just wanted to wake up from... restrained, trapped, and threatened to be skinned alive - there was no other answer to this. This was a nightmare.

He wasn't sure what that greenskin was planning, but he had to double down on this one first. The goblin stuck in the Gnoll’s jaws reached for a knife on himself to try and free himself. The knife may have been a threat to most beings, but with Vash’s size and robustness, it likely would feel as if he was being stabbed with a pin needle. He motioned to try and plunge the weapon anywhere, the neck, shoulder, abdomen, it didn’t matter. He flailed about stabbing the the easiest spots he could reach. “Ow, jus’ lemme go!”The other goblin had gathered up a bunch of fragile pots in his arm, and he started throwing them as soon as he was spotted by the monstrous Gnoll. He threw them at Vash the Black’s feet, as they shattered in multiple pieces, leaving a thick burst of dark green smoke behind. This green smoke curled around Vash the Black, and quickly filled the tent. The smoke was disgusting at first, but it would begin to burn the mouth, nose, and eyes. Should it fill a being lungs, those would burn too, and after a longer period of time it could render someone dizzy or faint, eventually leading to unconsciousness. The gas that was within the smashable pot also had anti-magic properties, making anything magic within the smoke malfunction and stop. Most Legion members were used to it by now, but they weren’t immune. The nasty gas would effect all three of them within the tent, as they slowly began to cough.
