"There is no secret," explain Apus. "I am a necromancer. I have dedicated my life to prying into the secrets of death. And though I harmed no living person, they ran me out of town. One of their own, born and bred. And I want them to suffer for this injustice. There is none there I call friend, no family. I want you to burn it all."
Apus looked back at Zhax'n, eyes still unblinking. "They have few militia, and fewer men trained at combat. They will be easy pickings." The look on Apus face remained completely unchanged. "Do we have a deal?"

"Do we have a deal?" Zhax calmed down again and leaned back against the seat, he pointed at a lesser guard and signaled him to scoop up the gold rom the floor and haul it into a back room, out of sight. "We have a deal, it will be done. If it is as easy as you say it it I will have Nat'ia take a group out to tha village and bring it down into dust." He looked to a messenger on the side, "fetch me Nat'ia, she has work to do." The messenger scurried off through the tent's doors. Legion Master Zhax looked back to Apus, "If you have nothing more to add, we are done here. I'll have a guard escort you out." The honor guard tapped the butt of her spear on the ground, signaling she was at the ready.

A grin spread across Apus's face. "Nothing more. Though I would like to ride with your war party, to see the town razed. It would... give me great satisfaction." After that, he bowed his head to Zhax'n and exited the tent with the guard.
For the time being he would wait by himself outside the encampment. The smells and the barbarism of the mongrels made his stomach turn. He tied his horse to a random piece of dead wood and sat down on his bed roll and began to pour over one of the few books he was able to gather as the townsfolk chased him from his home. Of course he already knew it word for word, but he needed something calm to play against his excitement.
If the war party did not leave on the same day, he would start a small campfire, eat a bit of hard tack, give his horse several handfuls of grain, and then sleep until morning, trusting that no wild animals would come near the encampment.

The night would pass with the occasional chatter or snarling in the background. Nat'ia would be waiting by the main entrance with a good 60 warriors of different types, hopefully it would be enough, If not they'd have to turn around and get reinforcements to continue.

Apus had been waiting for the group of demihuman mercenaries since before daylight. When they had mustered at the gates to the camp, he mounted his horse and rode up to the creature that looked mostly like to be the leader. "It's a two day ride from here. Are your..." Apus looked around at the assembled group of dissimilar monstrous humanoids, "men ready for that?"
Offering no more than several seconds for the creature to reply, he turned his horse away. "I will lead you there," he said and bade his horse move.

She had returned at long last. Her absence that time had lasted several months. Although she had spent that time tormenting the people of a small village. For 6 months she had murdered one a day, until, desperate to escape the hunter stalking them, they had fled their village, right into the waiting arms of a nearby orc encampment. How the two hadnt known each other were there she did not know, but it had made for great fun, and she returned bearing the spoils from that tiny little village.

The small patrols on the outside of the camp took notice to Kaylie Imrahil 's scent. One of the newer recruits noticed it first, "Rrrr... I shmell a hooman, should we find it and kill it?" The veteran of the group had known this smell however, "No, it is our friend, she is wit us." Would Kaylie Imrahil come in contact with the patrol, she'd be directed towards and allowed into the camp. The stench and scenery in the camp was barbaric, (as usual) the smell of mud and flesh were common here...

She walked up casually to the patrol, her face unmoving at their barbaric sight.
"My god you all stink. I swear this camp smells worse and worse every time I come back. Do you all not clean? Oh nevermind, I forget who I am talking to. Just take me to the camp."
Not that she needed a guide, she had been working here probably before the newer ones were born, and the smell was enough to draw its location. But since she didnt feel like some jumpy guard trying to stab her, she let the patrol lead her there.

They arrived at the gate, which was simply a hole in the wooden wall of stakes. The patrol leader began to trek back. "I'll trust you know your way, we best git back before they think we're slackin.'" The group left, Kaylie Imrahil would be in the main compound, just down the dirt path was Zhax's tent.

She said hardly a word as she strolled over to Zhax's tent until she walked in, without knocking, throwing a small pouch on to the table.
"There you are, a selection of gems from the small mining village of Toronto. Got a whole shipment of them stashed away not far from here, near the Castle of some wacko gnome who asked me to clear the goblins from it out."
Another thud as a bigger sack fell in front of him, gold and silver spilling out.
"Gave me that for my troubles. Said if I brought him dead bodies he would pay well for them. I already took my cut. That is all yours."

Arya would remain unconscious for only a couple of minutes, though this would be enough time to tie her up if her captors were quick about it. By the time she had woken up, she would find herself being dragged along in between two of the bandits. It would take her a few ticks, for she was somewhat disoriented with an increasingly intense pain in her right shoulder and a constant headache, but she would soon realize they had bound her at the wrists and the ankles. Furthermore, these ropes would also be anti-magic as she found she could not draw any mana, not good. These bandits did not seem to be of the typical breed, who were disorganized and otherwise ill-equipped. For them to have all this anti-magic equipment meant they were much more than that. Not only that, she was alive still when she thought they would kill her immediately. Perhaps they wanted to ransom her? The paladin's mind tried to consider every possibility, though she found her thoughts somewhat fogged over and it was a bit hard to concentrate. She would try and pull free from the two dragging her along a couple times as they made their way to the camp, though the pain in her shoulder in the absence of adrenaline made these attempts quite futile. Most likely she had broken a bone or two in her shoulder, she figured. <exit> Surprisingly, Arya Shieldheart ’s trip to wherever the bandits had taken camp was rather short, considering they made it there without any major delays or stopping for breaks in just under a day, and now the sun was beginning to set in the west, casting an orange light upon the local forest. Arya’s weak struggles would only be met with a grunt from her carriers as they pulled her along the ground, further towards their destination. Eventually the passing by trees would abruptly end, and soon they came to the outskirts of a walled camp. Stumps of once trees littered outside the encampment, except for in front of a small gate and trail leading out of it, which was likely the main entrance to the compound. Before they moved them and their prisoner inside though, they stopped outside of the gate, tossing Arya Shieldheart ’s back against the remains of a fallen tree. The seemingly next in command (after @mirssa ) stepped forward, a gnoll with very bloodstained gear and fur for once addressed their captive. In very poor common and perhaps a sarcastic tone as well, he gave her important instructions as he stood over the prisoner. “All rite miss, if ya wanna make it through ‘ere with out anything else bad happenin’ to yah, you best be quiet. There be othas here who would try an’ take you fer theirselves, they’d make yeh mince meat, or even their newest ‘play lady.’ We’ll make sure we git da best results outa yah if ya don’t attract any moochers. Got it?”His fellow companions waited for the paladin to understand their newest leader’s instructions, as they kept watch at the gate, making sure no one was listening in on their conversation or watching them.

Arya stands at about 5'10, with an athletic build composed of lean yet strong muscle due to rigorous training in plate armor most of the time. Arya has pure white hair that tumbles down to just above the small of her back in flowing waves.
Her face holds soft features, which seem welcoming to any who look upon them. Her eyes, which are a ruby red color, always seem to hold a friendly, welcoming glint.
***
Clothes and Equipment: *Clothes and Equipment*
In combat, Arya will almost always be wearing a high quality plate armor made of white plate accented in black. The armor was made to fit the user and is more form fitting than plate armor of a lower quality, which makes it hug her features a bit, while also allowing a freer range of movement. On top of this, the armor is also enchanted, which lends it additional strength in the form of various wards placed upon it. With the armor, Arya also usually has a dark navy blue cape that is enchanted to protect her from the elements that may affect a user wearing full plate normally.
Arya's sword, which she carries at all times, appears to be made out of pure gold and is ornately crafted, though in truth it is only golden in color. The blade seems to always gleam with holy energy. The source of the blade's holy energy seems to flow directly from Arya's soul, the blade and its wielder's soul linked by a powerful bond. The golden metal sword is so much a part of Arya that she can easily cast holy magic or light magic through it as she fights with it, and if one were to hold the blade, it would surrender everything of Arya's being to that person, including every memory, thought, and emotion she had ever experienced and is experiencing at the time. If the sword, which is nigh indestructible, is destroyed, however, Arya would die.
At other times, she wears more mundane clothing, though it typically consists of a cloak that is a dark navy blue, similar to her cape while she is wearing her armor that is also enchanted to protect it's wearer a bit. For the most part, she summons most of her equipment through the use of light magic, except for her sword.

Arya would wince, biting her lip beneath her helm which she still wore obscuring her features as she was thrown to the ground. That had not felt pleasant at all with her injured shoulder. If she could just convince them to take the ropes off she could cast magic again she could heal herself and perhaps escape this place. She felt her blade was still nearby, as the weapon was linked directly to her very essence and she drew power from it, and would also be able to recall it to herself with magic.
This was all useless now, though, as the ropes bound her physically as well as magically. She felt utterly helpless, and she didn't like it. The gnolls mention of becoming a 'play lady' as he so put it in his rough common did not lose its meaning to her, and she shuddered at the very thought of it.
She would have to play along, for now, she figured, and would nod in response to the gnoll's word. It wouldn't be long before someone came looking for her, she hoped. She still wore the bracelet given to her by Madam Naoki some time ago at the Chalet in the mountains, underneath her plate armor.

She would have to play along, for now, she figured, and would nod in response to the gnoll's word. It wouldn't be long before someone came looking for her, she hoped. She still wore the bracelet given to her by Madam Naoki some time ago at the Chalet in the mountains, underneath her plate armor. It hadn’t come to mind to her captors that she may have had an injury from the previous fight, they didn’t know about it, and continued to treat her as if she only had sores and bruises. Aye, her blade was indeed still near her, in one of the trailing bandit’s knapsacks; the point of it barely stuck through the cheap cloth of the bag. The Legion troops were awfully glad for their anti-magic rope, as it was their only real defense against the paladin’s powers, but once they got to the main tent there would shamans and other casters who could fight her magical powers, if she got free… Pleased with her quiet and quick response, the commanding gnoll went to take the lead again, and then two other bandits grabbed her from under the shoulder again, hoisting her back up and started to drag her towards the gate. As they went down the mere muddy road and past the wooden wall, it appeared that inside was a rather large settlement that was supposed to only be temporary, but had remained long past it’s expected deconstruction. It was lain out like a urban city, with dark alleys between tents and small log buildings. No sewer systems or aqueducts, or really any hygiene based structures were established inside its boundaries. The result was a very bad smell throughout the encampment. Whether these bandits did not care for the stench, or were just too lazy to keep it clean, one of them was the likely reason. Besides the strong smell of raw/rotting meat and excrement, the structures throughout were poorly made and worn down. Most buildings were simply tents, all at fixed heights no higher than the walls. There were few log buildings, but those appeared to be buildings of importance to these creatures. As Arya Shieldheart was dragged towards the center of the camp, a goblin tending a fire off to the side had caught the group escorting Arya. He eagerly approached the side of them, but the group would shove him off. “Wut you got dere? Some eatz, or sumthin’ bettar?”The gnoll didn’t looked too pleased to be speaking to this goblin. “Nuffin’ for ya, that’s fer sure. Now git outta ‘ere.”“You iz lucky da clan ain’t here wit meh, otherwise you’d regret nawt sharin.’”The goblin went back to his fire after his failed attempt to get some of whatever they had. Soon enough after a few more sideways glares and attempts to steal their captive, they had made it all the way down the dirt path, they stopped outside the center structure. Also a tent, but partly constructed and reinforced with logs, it stood high than it’s surrounding buildings. The leader walked into Arya Shieldheart’s view. “Okay, you ought to be just az nice az you were gettin’ down here. Cuz if you ain’t as nice lookin’ and useful as you were a wee bit back, you’ll be dead, and maybe I will too. We’ll see, you hear meh?”

The dragging would continue, and the pain would only get worse as it no doubt started swelling. At that point Arya couldn't even see straight, nevertheless notice any of the other bandits approaching.
She had said nothing of it previously because she didn't want to appear weak to them, even though she was tied up in anti-magic ropes. Arya felt it was at least a bit important, else they would not hesitate in abusing her like any other poor woman they happened to capture.
She had had enough by that point then though and would weakly mutter some words, though only the two holding her up would be able to hear.
"M-My shoulder... it's broken."
Whatever the gnoll said to her fell on deaf ears as she could only pay attention to the pain in her shoulder at this point. Even as the leader walked into view her head remained slumped forward for a lack of energy. If not for the two bandits holding her under each arm she would be on the ground, as the dizziness she felt would let her so much as sit up.

"M-My shoulder... it's broken." Whatever the gnoll said to her fell on deaf ears as she could only pay attention to the pain in her shoulder at this point. Even as the leader walked into view her head remained slumped forward for a lack of energy. If not for the two bandits holding her under each arm she would be on the ground, as the dizziness she felt would let her so much as sit up. Upon hearing Arya Shieldheart’s words come out of the two who had heard her, he seemed to slowly become covered in a quiet anger. “Oh so now it’s broken? Gah, just take her armor off, cut da strapz if ya need too. Maybe jus break ‘er other shoulder, make em look even!”He laughed at his own joke, then proceeded to keep watch as his men started to unbuckle or cut any chunks of plate off that weren’t stuck. Any padding or underarmor would remain untouched, as they only wanted to tear off the heavy metal parts first. All the metal armor from Arya’s upper torso, arms and her helm would be removed, as the bandit threw the pieces into two separate bags. Once her gear was collected up, they proceeded carrying her as normal to the front entrance. It didn’t look as if they cared about her injury right now, hopefully they would care at some point. As they dragged their loot (woman included) to the door, there stood two heavily armored Legion troops guarding the only entrance. One was presumably a gnoll (who was massive compared to the rest of their race) and a orc. Neither of their faces were visible through all the random metals put together that was their helmet. They each wielded a halberd, but shortened for easier use. They crossed their weapons in front of the log doorway as the orc confronted the approaching band of warriors. “Oi, wut you wahnt? Legion Master Zhax isn’t expectin’ you!”It was quite clear it was very hard to see through all the junk in front of his face, he'd be lucky if he could see anything more than just through a tiny hole. Now being spoken to, the gnoll once again took the head of the warriors. “We got sum loot and this lady from an attack, we jus’ here to report to mister bossman.”“Hmm, alright. You dere, go check if it’s ok fer them to go in!”He pointed with his free hand at his fellow guard whom she nodded her head and went through the curtain door. The heavy clanking of armor was heard through the door, but any voices were either too soft to hear or in a foreign, brutish dialect of a tongue that Arya Shieldheart has not learned. It seemed as if they’d have to wait just a moment before being allowed in...

Physical Description: *Physical Description*
Arya stands at about 5'10, with an athletic build composed of lean yet strong muscle due to rigorous training in plate armor most of the time. Arya has pure white hair that tumbles down to just above the small of her back in flowing waves.
Her face holds soft features, which seem welcoming to any who look upon them. Her eyes, which are a ruby red color, always seem to hold a friendly, welcoming glint.

Arya wouldn't resist as they took off the upper plate armor, her ruby eyes blinking at the increased light as they removed her helm. Her silvery hair seemed to be in a tight braid underneath her helm that was meant to keep it nice and contained while she battled, though she wasn't doing any of that now. She would now visibly grimace as they dragged her along with her shoulder.
She wouldn't say anything as they waited to gain entrance into the tent, instead her head hung tiredly and she stared at the ground, trying not to think about what might come next.

Night was starting to fall, the orange light now dimming down and being replaced by the light of torches and fires scattered through the camp. Soon the chatter beyond the cloth door would end, and the thumping of heavy armor would become louder as the guard returned. She pushed through the hanging sheets and took her position where she was originally stationed at before speaking through her helmet. “You’re all gud to go in, bring ‘er inside as well.”Both halberds were lifted out of their way, and they were cleared to go inside the tent. The leading gnoll went first through the doorway, as expected, and second were the two carrying Arya Shieldheart . Once through the doorway, Arya would likely first see that this building was indeed floored, as she was now resting on a dark and damp rotting wood floor, the second part she would notice is that the inside of the building had a softer light blue color lighting the room, unlike the rest of the camp who were using conventional flames to see. The blue light came from two moderately sized magical braziers which were burning a unique flame, resting to the left and right of a tall wood and leather seat. Upon what one might call the center throne, was Legion Master Zhax , whom was currently adorned in armor similar of the rest of his troops, but the individual pieces seemed of higher quality and of rarer metals. He had no helm or neck armor on at this time, and it was visible that there was a clean bandage wrapped beneath his chin and all the way back up and across the top of his head. The Kiggy slouched in his seat with such posture that suggested he was better than everyone in this very room. To the left and the right of his shoddy throne and behind the magic braziers were what looked of two magic users or shamans, as each was dressed in strange feathers, cloths and jewelry. The goblin and kobold each seemed to tend to the flame on their respective side, but were also watching the people who had just entered the rather large room. The leader stepped to the front and center of the room and took a knee infront of Legion Master Zhax before speaking; the others behind him followed suit as well, Arya Shieldheart was released in the center of the room, but each of her guards remained next to her to make sure she wouldn’t try anything, not that she was in a position to escape at this point… “Legion Master Legion Master Zhax , we were stationed along a road, an’ @mirssa was leadin’ dis, and we came across a large wagon. As you requested, we tried taking it for ourselves but there was a magik usin’ halfling who killed a bunch of our guyz and @mirssa . We managed to git a few valuables before trying to chase down a gnome on the run, but then we were interrupted…” He gestured with his hand that Arya Shieldheart was that unfortunate “interruption.” “She went and dun killed a few of us before we struck ‘er down, but we saw that she ‘ad some gud stuff and was a magic person, so we brought her to you.” Legion Master Zhax , now sat up in his seat a bit before responding to his minion. His voice didn’t seem too intimidating, but it did seem more guttural and hardened than the rest of his kin. “I see, and so you fled with wat little you had and this caster?”The gnoll lifted his head. “Yeah, we did.”Legion Master Zhax hopped down from his seat and started to walk towards the leader, but then went around him and to Arya Shieldheart . He went by her and reached out his scaly hand, stroking against the side of her soft cheeks. Those eyes seemed familiar to Legion Master Zhax , like someone who he had spent time with a while ago… Still partially grabbing the side of her beautiful face and lifting it up, he uttered questions to her as the rest of his bandits waited in silence. “My dearie girl, might I ask who yeh are, and where do you belong? Cause I can guess dat you don’t normally stroll into my people, cause you seem… untainted…”He smelled the air around her, he’d never seen her before, and she didn’t seem to bear any obvious insignias of any nation, she was fresh.
