Frederick
New
Roleplay posts: 9
Age: Thirty-something
Physical Description:
Frederick is, for lack of a better term, special. Seemingly a normal vampire bat, he was born with the inability to be sensed by anybody who couldn’t see the world of Faerie. Oh, and he was also sentient.
Due to his fellow bats not realizing he was there, he was abandoned at an early age. A very young Frederick made his way into the world alone, feeding on piglets mostly, and bothering predators that couldn’t see him. He continued to do this for twelve years or so, until he picked a fight with tribe of boggarts.
To his surprise, they could see him, and fell upon him with their little twig-spears. He managed to get away relatively unharmed, but he learned that some things in the world could see him. He quickly began documenting what kinds of creatures could see him, and what kinds couldn’t. Over the course of this endeavor, he learned a great many secrets about the unnatural world, secrets that he transcribed in his journals, which he keeps in a tiny bag across his shoulder.
These days, Frederick travels abroad, as a general source of information. Frederick knows the locations of ley lines, standing stones, fey enclaves, and places where the walls of the world are thin. He knows about almost every fey species, and many artifacts and old legends.
Clothes and Equipment:
Frederick wears artificial eyes to negate the need for echolocation and carries a tiny knife at his side. His bag contains his journals, a pen made out of a sliver of a blade of grass, and a bottle of ink made out of kernel of corn.

Frederick grins at Edyrian's offer.
"Teambuilding. Frederick appreciates the gesture. Most clients only focus on their side of the contract, no?"
Frederick leafs through some notes.
"Let's see... there's a tribe of Ghouls causing trouble in the Rub' al Khali desert. Apparently the old graveyards are running out of carrion. Numerous reports of caravans disappearing, with one witness claiming to find mutilated camels half-buried in the sand. Human eaters then. Sound nasty enough for you, boss?"

Sir Edyrian Talgan
Established
Roleplay posts: 34
Physical Description: Sir Edyrian is a proud, hawkish man. He's tall for a human, standing somewhere above six feet. He has dark, sun-tanned skin and sports a messy head of thick black hair.
Clothes and Equipment: Sir Edyrian is never seen without his blade, a surprisingly narrow sword of a dull grey metal that seems to radiate a strange feeling of emptiness. It is never strapped to his body, the scabbard always being carried by hand. A rather ornate spear is usually resting against his shoulder, a spear that seems to flicker in one's peripheral vision. A pair of masterfully-crafted leather boots adorn his feet, a single silver buckle binding each of them. He normally wears a set of plate under an overcoat, even in times and areas of peace. One can never be too careful.

"Ghouls, hmm?" Edyrian stroked his chin. "I am somewhat unfamiliar with them. They're undead and feast on flesh, which is the extent of my knowledge."
He urged the griffin into the air, powerful wings flattening the grass around.
"Lead the way! I'd appreciate any more information you have."

Dee Emmecks had gathered intel throughout the day while in Ozmodias and found out the location of his target. While going down an alley, a thief would attempt to mug him.
The thief's body would be found on a curb by patrolling guards, appearing to have been beaten by multiple people and curb stomped. His teeth lay scattered in the gutter, his ribs were broken and the back of his skull was caved in.

"I don't think we should check in with the Elders in this city." One of William's disciples suggested. "Our ceremony is a bit conspicuous to say the least." "You are right, of course. It would be foolish to disregard the advice of the fine captain." "Maybe we should even buy some new clothes. Our robes stand out. And the staff. I mean come on, John could enchant a pencil to do the same thing." "Be at ease, Paul. The root has symbolic power and the robes stay. We will not stray from the Path for such mere trifles." William was beginning to grow tired of Paul's complaints. The young priest had grow less and less compliant as their quest proved fruitless. "We will stay here only long enough to find out what we need to know." After a brief discussion with a merchant the clerics had directions to the mayor's mansion.

Daris makes his way into the city streets Dura at his side. The one benefit to being an orc here was that they were being given a wide berth. Which was for the best, Daris found himself sweating in the humid tropical warmth. He isn't quite sure where they are going. Maybe they should find something to eat? Now that his stomach was settling his appetite was returning.
