A large dog used by the Shiniga for searching, scouting, messaging, and many other various things that these large dogs are capable of. A fast, powerful, and intelligent hunter and soldier.
Shiniga Ashigaru

A military force of people who have attended the academy in Taka-Ha no Toshi. These soldiers are hard workers, most being farmers. The Shiniga didn't believe in slavery because hard work made strong soldiers. Fact is, the Shiniga know that if the Ashigaru had to work their farms, that they would fight harder because they were truly one with their land and that nobody would do anything for them but themselves. This leaves the Shiniga with a well trained force with a reason to fight. The Ashigaru personally choose to follow the Daimyo over the Empress due to his impression on the people.
Erito Shiniga Ashigaru

A highly trained group of Ashigaru that generally teach at the academy in Taka-Ha no Toshi. These Ashigaru are an assassin class warrior that also stood as a Monk of the Black Fox Shinigami. They devote their prayers to the Black Fox and have designed their combat in the fashion of the Black Fox. The Erito Shiniga Ashigaru are often a more efficient assassin due to their stealth and close range combat strategy. Only members of Shiniga Assassin groups can use these NPC's.
Shiniga Samurai

The Shiniga Samurai are the elite known soldier for the Shiniga Province. They are trained with multiple weapons and are assassin capable. These Samurai do not find assassination dishonorable due to their studies under the Black Fox. They generally remain quiet and mysterious.

Only four beings hold this position. Their only loyalty is to the Daimyo himself. These are the warriors the protect him in battle and that is usually the only time they are scene. These warriors know no bounds. They move more like ninjas and can strike multiple enemies while defending. These warriors normally keep lower ranked soldiers back so the Daimyo can fight the officers and leaders. These soldiers are PC capable, but they are what they are. The Daimyo likes to keep these four hidden, so when not on duty, they are regular people.
