Armandol is an unassuming village saddled between the main merchant's road in the area, and a wide but slow river. The village's main staple is fish and crustaceans, with a few farms providing wheat, tubers, and greens. About 15 families call the village their home, and most of them either work farms or fish. Products that aren't available or grown in town are traded for daily via the merchants that pass through the village.
Armandol has only two businesses. One is a tavern slash general store, and the other is a smithy. The owner of the store works with villagers and merchants to acquire products via trade. The most work the smithy sees is fixing plows and making fish hooks, though the proprietor is competent and can fix other tools and wares (he is not a weapon/armorsmith).
There is no inn in the town, but there are large flat areas on either side where travelers and merchants are welcome to set up tents and wagons for the evening.
The window for joining in this character-centric quest is 48 hours from now. Some characters may not be suitable, but most of good nature should be fine. Thank you for your consideration.

After Akos has finished his meal, a small boy approaches him. The boy is probably eight to ten years old. His clothes and hands mark him as a farmer’s son. “Um, sir, can I talk to you?” The boy produces a small bag like you’d see seeds stored in. He opens it up and upends it on the table, revealing a few copper and a single silver coin. “My ma and pa haven’t come home in two days. Can you help us find them?” The boy glances to a corner where a small girl, probably only six or seven years old sits by herself.
If Akos looks around, he’ll notice that other patrons in the bar avoid his eyes, along with the boy and girl. He might hear something mumbled about a curse and “told them they shouldn’t have done it.”
The boy continues, “you’re an adventurer right? My ma told me stories about adventurers fighting monsters and saving people. Can you help us too?” In the corner, tears begin to flow down the girl’s face in earnest, accompanied by small hiccuping noises. The boy looks at Akos with small eyes, starting to fill with tears as well, despite his best efforts to stop them.

Obviously Akos will be participating. Anyone else up for helping me turn this guy into a character that's actually rounded? XD

Rahlie is a Fairy Thief, so maybe he could be a nuisance for Akos at first but maybe they could become friends

Age: 19
Physical Description: She was once blonde, but the blood of her enemies has stained her hair so it is more of an orange color. She is about 5'5 with a face that is often mistaken for friendly. Her blue eyes try to watch everything around her.
Clothes and Equipment: Opting for platemail over the more useless armors most female warriors wear for protection. She does not use the upper legs for better agility and dexterity. Most of the time she wears nice ruby colored robes underneath them. In the end she is still a part of one of the wealthiest families in Isra. Her sword 'Volujin' was made by dwarven grand master smiths. Tailored to her balance, tailored to her need for bigger and stronger enemies the runic magics within the sword even carve through dragon scales like butter. After all, only then does it become a fair fight.
Player's online availability : often? idk

Lost from her father's caravan, Jom sees the boy welling up in tears. "Don't worry, if he won't, I will help you! What was it you need again?" Her greatsword swung in her neck. (can I still join?)
