As a storm dragon, his hide and flesh can generate an electric charge passively when threatened, much like an eel, and can naturally and instantly release it upon being touched by a foreign organism or object.
As a human he takes the appearance of a man in the age range of forties to fifties, averagely built besides being a few inches taller than the average Joe and dressed in clean leather armor and worn blue cloths.
Clothes and Equipment: Two small leather pouches tucked under wings
He owns his father's ancestral unique magical scale mail. It is enchanted to break on impact and the shards return his body and reform into a different piece of armor until it is struck, then it repeats the steps.
A set of personal shoulder pads forged by Brock the forge master. It focuses the passive electricity in his hide into a beam of magic energy which blasts away targets.
Weaponry: Claws, Breath Attack (Lightning), and Bite
Treasure Hoarding: Minimal, mainly gems sometimes gold.
While as a human, he wields a magical long-sword, not much is known about his weapon, as he rarely uses it.
Allegiances: Isra (Loosely)

Recently I've pondered about this, and it's a serious topic I think we should look at: How does Anti-magic effect teleportation and/or portals? Some things I've thought of are: 1. Blocks inbound and outbound teleportations 2. Blocks only outbound (casting a teleport in an Anti-magic area, not arriving at) 3. Blocks outbound but inbound teleporters are denied leaving the teleport status and are thus trapped in a weird dimension or plane of existence 4. Anti-magic should not block teleportation

His skin is a shade of alabaster so pale that dark veins and bright arteries can be seen beneath, sometimes appearing to crawl beneath the flesh of their own volition. His eyes seem the color of a worn road stone, grey and lifeless. Lusterless black hair, several inches too long, dangles from his white scalp in uneven cuts. Two things I think are important to figure out before getting into what will and won't stop it:
1) Is the spell effect of teleportation contained at the launch site, or does it travel with the teleportee? This is important, because if it's self contained, IE the magic just plops the target player down somewhere, then anti-magic should not affect it. If the magic traverses locations (threads in our case), then the anti-magic should block it.
b) Are non-magical means of teleportation treated consistently? I've been told that anything unexplainable by science in the game is magic, thus Maes's teleportation, which is actually him moving through the space between spaces rather a magical tunnel, is considered magic (and I'm totally fine with that, it's all just flavor anyway).
If anti-magic blocks teleportation, than I like the "osh-" mechanic of suddenly ending up wherever the AM zone begins instead of at the intended target. Or even at a random spot around its perimeter, rather than just the intersection of the teleport's line and the boundary of the zone.

The person you are trying to teleport would be inside anti-magic so you would not be able to teleport them out since the magical effect would need to happen around that person to teleport them, which is impossible in an anti-magic field.

The spell effect of teleportation is contained at the launch site, because magical effects can not span across threads. But settings effects can, so portals might be able to. Although portal magic tends to involve two portals in my experience. Portals like Diablo portals are just teleportations with fancy windows IMO.

Also portals I feel like are more a sort of permanent type of teleportation magic, and if there are portals on each side (which are magical effects) you would probably need someone to open the portal at your intended destination. The advantage of portals imo would probably be allowing anyone to go through them to pop up on the other side without expending any additional energy beyond keeping the portal open or requiring the people using the portal to actually know how to teleport themselves.

I am thinking of ring/pad type portals/teleporters. So so you have one in Isra and one in Gauldin, the user just needs to speak the command word and activate the portal, no magic expended as that is part of the device's power. But if you have one in Gauldin and one in Goraia, and Goraia has anti-magic bubble, would that teleport still work? I would say no either way because the magic of the portals depends on both. That's what I'm getting at, if that makes sense.

Please refer back to the introduction and game guide board for 3. Magic & Paranormal Powers. As stated in the section "Limitations," There are three notable exceptions to the limitation of magic across threads. Those three exceptions are:
Teleportation The instant warping of a character from one location to another. Telepathy Sending of mental messages to another character. Scrying Using magic for a remote surveillance of an area.
If performing any of these effects across threads, make sure the location is not warded against these effects. The existence of wards or anti-magic fields may prevent you from succeeding in your attempt.
I think this would be a good opportunity for everyone to familiarize themselves with the newly formatted and clarified game guide, so that misunderstandings like this do not happen in the future. Thread closed.
