Upset at The Assembly. by: Anonymous
Just recently in The Assembly long time government official and short term Prime Minister Tyrus Sephiran, was voted out of office. This was the result of a no confidence vote put forward by The Minister of Justice Ryden Greyiron. The Minister of Justice threw some slanderous allegations at Mr. Sephiran, who refuted them all vigorously. Regardless of the veracity of these allegations the vote was put forward and by a thin margin Mr. Sephiran was voted out of office. Following this there was a complete restructuring of the cities governmental bodies. We just recently had our new High Lady installed and already one of our former lords longest serving ministers has been sacked. With these new changes we see both Ryden Greyiron and Empress Naoki filling multiple seats on the council. With all these changes this reporter can't help, but be worried. Is our new High Lady shouldering too much of the burden? Was Minister Greyiron's move well intentioned? Or was it a power play? When asked for comment on the proceeding Lady Naoki had this to say: “Well, it’s a shame that Tyrus was voted out, he seemed like a fine enough man to me. But I suppose that’s why I’m not in charge of the Judiciary Department, responsible for such things. Ryden, though, also seems fine enough to me, and he has big plans for restructuring the government, which I like. His plans should lead to a great increase in efficiency, and I always enjoy that.” - Empress NaokiNon-committal, but marginally optimistic words from our lady. This reporter has decided to share the stance of Lady Naoki. We cannot know what the future holds, but let us hope this move was for the best.

The Death of a NationBy: AnonymousAs many of our readers are likely aware, the country of Aedan has fallen. Though exact details have been kept from the general public we know the following. A host of undead rose up within the city and slaughtered the majority of the population. What remained of Aedan's military set up a blockade and sent runners to the nations of the world for help. First response came from Aedan's closest neighbor The Land Tillers Expanse. Then our very own Elizabeth Finch lead a legion into the city to assist. These two nations handled the majority of the fighting, though there are reports that far off Gauldin sent some limited aid. Working together and with some help from free parties, the undead horde was dealt with in Aedan. Though the Assembly refused to send additional troops to Aedan proper, Isra did send troops to reinforce the Land Tillers to be safe. This turned out to be for the best as a force of undead did make it to the expanse. Fortunately the Land Tillers with Isra's help saw victory on their own soil. The aforementioned free parties reportedly dealt with the source of the undead during this secondary battle. Tragically The White City was not recoverable. A memorial has been erected in it's honor on the site it used to stand. We reached the short term Quen of Aedan Nyx Mann, who had this to say: ""The war was victorious with few dead once the offensive started, so I'm quite happy that the Alliance did so well. Aaedan is gone, I will say no more." - Elizabeth Finch Rumor has it that following these event Lady Naoki has called for a summit. This summit will include major players from the war as well as from The Land Tillers Expanse and The Kingdom of Gauldin. The exact nature of this summit is currently unknown. This reported can't help, but speculate that it may be about a formalized alliance between these three great nations. Only time will tell for sure.
