A rich village built from the ground up - developing from a once tiny farming village into a bustling place full of activity from travelers and those on pilgrimage for prayer. The river and lake are man made, surrounded by a number of homes and establishments that rely on the water for travel, fishing and more.
The roads wind through the village, one leading off to the northwest of the village and up to a grand shrine built to house and worship the spirits - the cobble road lined with a number of shinto gates all the way to the placement of the shrine, as well as a nearby tree wrapped in rope and decorated in a number of prayer slips.
