A large eye zoomed in on the wanderer when they actually responded. When the stank eye was no longer being cast on the wanderer, a smell was to be had. A dirty and toothless grin formed as the hermit relaxed for the first time in a week, "Big cat. White hair. Pretty cat. Cat nice sometime. Magic rock, you find."

Wah is a little concerned as the Hermit examines him. When the old man smiles he doesn't feel that much more comfortable.
"Oh ok. W-what's your cats n-name?" The young kobold asks before turning around to look for a big white cat, he didn't see the cat right away so her looked behind some trees.

"Fluffy." The hermit grunted as resumed looking for his cat.
Wah most likely had a better sight than the Hermit, so when the Kobold began his search, he would easily spot large paw prints in the ground. The large paw prints wandered off into the woods, circling and crossing over each other many times. Over in the hermits direction sniggers could be heard, so if Wah was to look, he'd see the hermit wandering like a blind man in a jungle.

"Okay! Flufffyyyyy~ Kitty are you around?" Wah looked around and looked back when he heard the Hermit moving. "You look over there I guess. I'll come back in a bit!"
Wah would find the tracks and follow them the best he could. He would cross over his own tracks sometimes but he could tell they were his and he tried not to mess with the cat prints. After following the trail for a while, he stuck out his tongue to try to pick up a scent. He had learned this from watching his mother hunt for big game. With a little experimenting, he could eventually figure out the correct way to flick his tongue to get a taste of a scent he could follow.

Wah's travels would lead to nothing for a long time, circling over and over. There was a few rock lined creeks and many dense patches of thorny bushes, but eventually he found a clearing.
In the distance whining and crying for for kittens was coming from a small patch of trees.
