On the east side of the island, you might find yourself in an unusual looking lagoon. These aren't normal fishing waters! Be on guard.

Wolfgang and his crew, as well as Patches, would eventually find themselves on the other side of the small island, listening to the beautiful sound of the sea siren! The sirens were all gathered around, some frolicking and some lounging lazily in the sun, but there was one that lay on her back on the beach, idly combing her fingers through her sopping and tangled hair.
One by one, they each looked toward the group of men who rounded the corner, their shining eyes seeming to penetrate the souls of the ones they happened to pause at. They didn't seem intent on too much harm, though the song was pretty enchanting!

As Vale approached the sirens, he began to wonder what, exactly, he was doing. On the soft, warm sand, he stopped moving and sighed, rubbing at his temples and then turning even as the music began to play. "We do not need to be here," he told the others, hoping they were not completely under the spell of their music. He had no incentive that they truly meant any harm, but still, he could feel the magic emanating from the voice of the woman singing. "We stopped to resupply water, so let's do so and be on our way."
He looked back at the singing siren, hoping none of them took an interest in the men present.

Wolfgang, too, could feel the magic. The others, however, were not experienced with magic and while aware of its existence for certain, were still drawn to the songs. "You're right," Wolfgang said loudly as if for everyone to hear him agreeing with Vale. "We are here for fresh water. But this place appears to belong to someone else. Perhaps we should go." To set the example, Wolfgang began setting back towards another direction, hoping the sirens wouldn't notice or mind if they stayed far enough away. Yet, where on the island could they find fresh water? Judging by the foliage, it rains here often enough for there to be pools on the mountainous rocks, or plants that held much in them. They'd give the island a quick look around, but if little was immediately available, they'd head back to their ship.

It was a lucky day indeed that they wandered on these sea sitens. They would normally not be so friendly, but because the men didn't seem to be bent on fishing them from the sea, they were going to be nice. All but one moved back into the salt water, while the one who'd been singing remained and sat up. She languidly stretched her lithe form and yawned boredly, before pointing in the direction of fresh water. That was it. There was no more spell binding siren song. She made a sound in her throat to make sure the leader was paying attention to her, flailed her finger, and pointed toward the southwest. LinkylinkyUnderlinedTextHere

Patches let out a disappointed mumble, having seen the sirens and then watched them leave. He wasn't stupid, though, he knew they were potentially dangerous, so he didn't call them to come back no matter how touched he was in the head! “I t'ink she wants us ter foller 'er finger pointin'.” He looked around to see whatever it was she was pointing out, and clutched the cloth to his narrow hips. As he started to look around, his hands tied the fabric in a knot to hold it up. Look! Old man in a pretty skirt now!

"I will let you and your men resupply, Wolfgang. This island makes me feel at great unease..." He revealed, before quickly correcting himself. "No, not this island. The sea. I shall see to the ship and keep my eye on the waves. We should get to where we are going as quickly as possible, for every day on this ocean the risk of danger finding us increases greatly."
With that said and done, he gave a last glance over towards the remaining Siren and made his way back to where the beach and the waiting ship.
