Taingaard Government is rather straightforward. The three main cities of Vikhafen, Leifheim, and Skulhøy each have their own Tain - you may recognize it from the word 'captain' - which governs their own city. However in Vikhafen rules the Tain of Erik Haldar, who oversees the land and its protection and political interests. He is — with the unspoken consent of the other Tain - the ruler of Taingaard. However, he does not use this to enforce rules upon the other cities and Tains under normal circumstances. |

With all record of Morgdul destroyed by the Cataclysm, no one remembers the nation or its former ruler. Though the only signs of human life in the region are a collection of small, frontier towns, its leader clearly intends to grow the population in the near future.

Venland The Government of Venland is decentralized and relies primarily on internal groups for the foundation of its structure. These groups, in turn, can be considered to be compartmentalized parts of the Government. As a result, the heads of these groups may be regarded as parts of the Venlandic Nobility. Though, in practice, it is primarily a meritocracy with the heads of them being Jarls and Barons or Baronesses respectively. The head of state is the Kaizer or Kaizerin, a monarch elected by the nobility to serve a life-term. |

Kingdom of Gauldin The Kingdom of Gauldin is an ancient monarchy that has lasted through the ages. Like most, it began as fiefs ruled by whoever was the strongest and most capable leader and quickly grew into a feudal system of a king, his lords, their vassals, and their people. Gauldin is a kingdom built on magic, and a rare crystal ore known as cieltherium which is found almost exclusively in it's borders. Cieltherium holds a charge of magic far longer than almost any other ore, and is used to power various wonders rarely seen in other parts of the world. |

The Vessian Empire The Vessian Empire is a very diverse place, with the Imperial Family ruling over a very varied land with many different sub-cultures, all of which are Vessian. Many wrongfully believe that it is a uniform place with the lands the same, but in truth, each minor holding could not be more different. There are thousands of languages and even more ethnicities within. The Imperial Family has to make sure to appease them all, for it is because of them that they hold their place. Vessia is split into three main provinces; Swavia, Augustgrad, and Romulburg.
