The alliance between the Phoenix State and the Land-Tiller's Expanse has led to the exportation of medicinal plants throughout the Phoenix State's trade network. The Land-Tiller Tribes have a long, rich history of using medicinal plants and a fair understanding of the scientific method, but never have they had access to the technology and resources of the Phoenix State.
The facility is mostly a giant garden with a greenhouse in the center. Off to the side are dozens of alchemy labs where various mages, alchemists, and plant experts from both the Expanse and the Phoenix State conduct their research. A major breakthrough comes in at least once a month. Every achievement deals a blow to everything from depression to cardiac disease.

There is one unassuming lab in particular that is of most interest. A special elixir is being developed there, one which promises longevity and greatly diminished probability of disease to anyone who drinks it, a sort of super-vitamin with no negative consequences. Once developed, its very existence could bring untold wealth and prosperity throughout the land.
