The Banks of the River

(What thing in the mist? There's no thing in the mist.)


The Andarsi River is slow-moving, and it's banks range from sloping flat beaches of rock, snow and ice, to towering fjords where bandits watch with a slavering eye for your ship or whatever is upon it. Mostly, however, it is lightly wooded and a heavily winding path, dotted with fortresses that are either abandoned, owned by bandits, or owned by tired but fieresome "gentle folk" who are trying to make a living by land and river without getting set upon by the river pirates.
