Here, the ingenious mechanized weapons of war and defense are produced at a quick and efficient rate. Workers are healthy and well compensated, and the quality of timber satisfactory. Currently in production: ballistae. |

Physical Description: 6 feet tall, broad shoulders, with a lean and muscular build. One with experience would tell that Silas is a mercenary, yet he has very few scars. Over all he is a handsome man.
His hair is dirty blond and has recently grown nearly to his shoulders. A coarse scruff lines his strong chin telling of recent time spent traveling.

Silas pokes his head into the workshop. Men worked busily carrying beam, constructing scaffolding, and building a giant cross bow. "Woah!" Silas took in the enormity of the weapon. Approaching a workman he asked, "What is this for? Is Medan involved with a war I don't know about?" The last question was hopeful. War meant opportunities to make some gold.

"I can't comment on that," he said, "all I do is follow orders."
Clearly proud of their work, however, he did introduce them to what they were doing.
"These are ballistae," he said with a smile. "Most powerful weapon in Medan!"

Next to the the siege workshop was erected a giant ballistae. The so called Dragon Slayer, was able to launch shrapnel far beyond the city walls. Giant bolts would go even further, but where hard to aim. The major week side to the Dragon slayer was the necessity to open the gate in order to load it.
Within the workshop engineers were hard at work constructing the newly ordered arrow and pitch protection roofs.
