If all was finished, Hansel would be dismissed and he'd be provided some scrolls that had been transcribed to common. The contents of these first documents were records of Wang Chung and Wu Tang, two heroes of Katashima's past who eventually fought on opposing sides. This was good as it had record of both sides of a conflict.

Physical Description: Quite tall at 6'1, Hansel has a pale complexion coupled with nearly white blonde hair and a set of heterochromatic eyes. His boyish features are well defined but covered in many small scars. The young man's frame is best described as sinewy with significant muscle placed upon a relatively thin body. Across his body one would find many cosmetics scars, brands and a few tattoos be it of scripture or strange tribal symbolism. However most noticeable are the two large wings on either shoulder blade, and the cross on his chest and back crossing his breast from stomach to neck.
Clothes and Equipment: Typically Hans will wear a bodyglove of buunvar leather, over which is blessed chainmail and plate. His preferred weapon is a moderately sized Executioner's sword of Hagbane silver with the end rounded and sharpened to at least pierce flesh. However for sidearms he carries a powerful longbow and an ensemble of Holy falchion and dagger.
The lad also will usually possess a mount; either a blessed horse, pegasus or hyppogryph. The beast will always carry heavy barding and bears a lance and kite shield for its rider.

Hans thanked Shintaro for his words of affirmation and the books. He looked up to the man a great deal and this endorsement meant quite a bit. The foreign land of Katashima also interested him quite a bit. Besides, it have something to read was also good considering his lifestyle.

He gestured to the fairy on his head, who let out a tiny bell chime as she waved eagerly.
"And yes sir, came all the way out here from Isla to give my assistance. I hope that won't be a problem...."

"Certainly. When we first arrived in this region, we met the bandits for the first time. These bandits take a liking to setting traps and summoning golems to attack people. Over the past year we've clashed with the local bandit lord a few times and are just recently taking out their encampments between here and Taloum. Taloum is a town of the fallen kingdom of Fareen that is under control of the Local Bandit Lord. I've had spies go there many times to check things out, they have the people working as serfs for them, working mines and such, we've even found that inside the town all the people are imprisoned in their own homes. Soon I'll be leading an attack on Taloum to free people and offer them a better option."

"We've learned how to discover their summoning traps, but we don't have much means of stopping mages from summoning, besides killing them quickly. We don't have many talented mages here, so such means are difficult to come across. I was considering searching for one to hire to silence any summoners we encounter."

Riley rubbed his chin in thought. "I knew someone who was good at magic, but I doubt I'm still in contact with her....Sadly neither Cheesecake or I have any knowledge of it. Well, she does, but the best she can do is cast Light on herself." Cheesecake nodded vigorously, floating up into the air and Began to power up and glow violently. At the end of it, her cowlick grew in size and glowed as brightly as a powerful flashlight. She looked proud of herself. "That said, what about a stealth mission to incapacitate the mages? Assuming we can recognize them, Cheesecake can fly in unnoticed, mark them, and allow our snipers to take them down." |

"That's an idea there. Flying into the town would be dangerous though, unless it's something she can do no problem." Shintaro put his hands together. "If you need a place to stay, there should be vacancies at an inn. Or if you would like to officially join my army, you can get lodging in the barracks."
((I don't actually have an inn in this town, I should probably make one but I have enough to do without looking after another inn.))

Riley grinned as Cheesecake flexed her nonexistent muscles.
"And I don't know about officially joining the army. I have a tavern of my own back in Isla I want to eventually get back to. Though staying over night and meeting the rest of the soldiers would be helpful."

Shintaro sits in the meeting hall, receiving intel from his subordinates on local and global events. The Siege of Taloum was still being planned and every new piece of info he could get was valuable to strategy. Once he was done hearing news, he dismissed the messengers and relaxed in his seat. "Summon some entertainment."
The Marquis chilled while watching dancers and listening to music. If someone came with urgent news he would dismiss the entertainment.

Asthor would speak to the guards outside of the grand doors that lead to the meeting room."Sir, I am Asthor and I am here to see the warlord. So please let me through these doors," Asthor would say,almost pleadingly. One of the heavily armed guards opened the door for him and made the announcement of his arrival to the Warlord. Asthor stepped through the royal doors of the room to see a familiar room that he had stood in so long ago. Asthor just took in the beauty while waiting for the warlord to speak. Asthor enjoyed the comfort of the high-class chair while listening intently to the Warlord. He went to think of how wonderful things were going in Aozora, and how it had changed. Isra was always a fine nation from his perspective, but he wondered as to what else had happened! He would then think of the land tillers state and the tribe who had come along. What was happening with them? Asthor had just a moment to gaze until it was his moment to speak.
Now, with the Warlord being done speaking he went to his turn. Asthor spoke loudly of his interests."I'm afraid that I wasn't around long enough to see most of the things that had happened. Did our mines get up and running in the time before? Also did the Land tillers tribe ever plant their farms as said?" Asthor would question.

"Yes, yes, all that went through. A while back though Osma was abducted by small creatures that had been harassing us, throwing cows over our walls and such. I managed to rescue her successfully with minimal losses. Lady Osma has also helped to remedy a pain in my eye that I've been having for some years. We've quashed many bandit encampments and are preparing to take Taloum. Though we've culled their numbers they are very crafty and will no doubt set more traps in the town. I'm excited to try out our new armament on those bandits."
Shintaro passed a scroll to Asthor for him to look over, it was a diagram of the weapon he mentioned, made wit Isran steel. It was a wheeled contraption that like a catapult, but it didn't operate like one. From a seat in the back there were pulleys for changing the direction and angle it was aimed with a cord running through the middle, this was the most important part, when the cord was pulled out with speed and sufficient power it caused a large bladed glaive to spin rapidly. Once the ripcord is pulled and the glaive is spinning, a lever is then pulled to release the spool holding the glaive in place.
"That's the prototype Glaive Launcher. The architect of its design was inspired by some children playing with wooden spinning tops. You see, the cord is pulled and it makes the glaive spin, with the rotational energy generated the projectile is more effective."
