After his Atlanticus mansion was destroyed in a home invasion, Robert vanished for a while and was presumed dead. Some time later, he reappeared and purchased a slightly smaller mansion in Port Silverion, where he now lives. Nowadays, he runs a new business in the port, exporting his uncle Renalt's chocolates around the globe. He lives with a small gaggle of maidservants and a white peacock named Bennik.

Robert walked up the path to his house, leading William, John, and Paul. His assistant, Ms. Booker, walked alongside him. When he unlocked the door, the monks would see a collection of staff scurrying about, dusting and cleaning. They giggled and gossiped when they saw Ms. Booker, but fell silent when the priests walked in. What could Mr. Fletcher possibly want with those people? A white peacock ran up to Robert, falling into step beside him, and the minister patted its head. A snowy owl flew off its perch and landed on his shoulder, and he patted that as well. "Welcome to my home, gentlemen. Now, we'll see if I have anything of your friend's."

The three priests were indifferent to the finery of Robert Fletcher's house. Neither did they seem to notice the change of atmosphere. The hope of finding something and fear of finding nothing blinded the priests to all else. They followed close on Robert's heals. When he presented them with the box of old items, the answer was clear.

Robert headed upstairs, leaving the priests with Ms. Booker and the peacock. The secretary patted the bird on the head, and he rubbed against her leg. Clearly, the two were well acquainted. A moment later, Robert walked slowly down the stairs, dragging a huge trunk.
"Alright, gentlemen. Let's see what we've got in here, shall we?"
Blowing the dust off the top, he unlocked and opened the trunk. Inside was a collection of old clothes, some statuettes, a few gold coins, some souvenirs from Carmela Island, and some other junk. However, as he dug through the old stuff, the priests might notice a few golden dragon scales under a pair of old socks.

Brother Paul sighed as he picked up one of the dragon scales. That was all they needed. "This would be of much use to us. If you don't mind parting with it." The young priest said.
Brother William spoke up as well, "We have no money to pay you with, but I could do a tarot reading if you wish?"

Robert shook his head.
"Go ahead, I don't have any use for those. Uncle Renalt's got closets full of the things. I can always ask him if I ever need a dragon scale. It's all yours. As for the tarot reading...sure, why not. It's always good to know things, I suppose."
Ms. Booker sat down on a couch, curious to see the result of the tarot reading. She'd always been skeptical of fortunetelling of any kind, but these priests seemed to know what they were talking about. The white peacock sat down beside her, resting his feathered head in her lap.
