A part of the island nestled beside the temple that is an expanse of bamboo forests, where a walkway has been worn in from the number of spirit treks the monks have partaken. This part of the forests is renowned more so for the repeated walks of man, and a very prominent sense of serenity that settles over the area - enough so that even the resident wildlife take little heed or caution to those that wander here. There is a feeling in this expanse that one could almost deem magical, especially with the mist that seems to keep the place cast in an almost moonlit glow.
