The landbridge is a long stretch of land from the overworld known to most, to the Divine Empire of Vessia. It has two coast as the land bends across the water.
The uninhabited land is free for relaxation and travel, however as one approaches territory Vessia actually recognises as part of it's own there are numerous patrols and traps set for foreigners who would like to pass without permission. There are also several signs about, with a paper of warning upon it. Similar papers starting with "Achtung," "Внимание," and many other variations are below it.

An armor-clad knight atop a white horse approached the Land Bridge of The Divine Empire of Vessia. The last time he was here his hometown, Heschburg, was burned to the ground, and its people slaughtered or enslaved by the Wickans. It was that moment he followed a knight, Konrad, into Eastwick and assisted in the Massacre of Arburg - where Vessian knights and other volunteers brutalized some pagan Wickans in a sort of revenge-fueled escapade. They returned to Vessia, only to be arrested by the Emperor, and were to be sentenced to death. However, they were reorganized into a holy order: the Brothers of the Sword, and sent back into Eastwick to end the pagan threat once and for all. After their success they spread throughout the world, and even established their own state: the Duchy of Audria, a client state of Vessia. With the order's successes there, Konrad and many knights settled down and now live happily in their newly-conquered home. But for many knights who did not wish to stop their quest, they were forced to search elsewhere for glory. Adrian had a hard time finding new purpose, and so decided to return to Vessia. He had been back home for many years, and was out of the loop in current events - practically a foreigner. And so the white steed carried the weary knight across the Land Bridge, accompanied by other Brothers of the Audrian Order, with the intent to seek new purpose...

The land-bridge would be rather quiet and uneventful for most of the trek. When they were a day's ride away they would hear a loud horn blow however. Some Imperial Knights would trot along, the hoof-beats like thunder. "Get off your horse now!" the lead rider shouted but then he quickly slowed down and raised his visor. "I say! Is that one of the Audrian Knights?" he demanded, surprised as ever. Cautiously and with a hint of reverence he and his men would slowly ride closer.

Adrian came to an abrupt halt, lifted his hands from the reins of his loyal steed, and alertly looked at the Vessian knights approaching. "It's okay," he said calmly, in the Vessian tongue, "I am Adrian von Heschburg, former Komtur and temporary Hochmeister of the Audrian Order, son of Vessia, and would have been the count of Heschburg had it not been razed by the pagans. I seek safe passage into my homeland, as do my Brothers." Adrian motioned behind him, where more Audrian Brothers awaited on their horses. Some pilgrims looked a bit terrified at the Vessian knights.

"Ah, a prodigal son!" the Leader remarked getting a better view of Adrian and his people. "Yes you better hurry on, you're here just in time. The Electors have selected the new Emperor. You will have to fight in Swavia once more most likely. Some say it will even be a Crusade." he told the man, blurting everything out to the quite famous man. "Yes, let us get to the country at large. You best see the Emperor or such like, any military aid is greatly needed."

Adrian relaxed, smiled at his countrymen, and motioned for them to lead the way. "Been a while, brothers," he continued in the Vessian tongue, "point me where I am needed."
Adrian was more than ready to serve his country once again, and would want to meet with the new Emperor whenever possible. Of course, he'd want a nice shave and bath first.

"Right Lord, I just need to notify the appropriate people. You'll get a home in Swavia, a reasonable estate. It's all just a bit much to process. We'll take you to the Emperor, I think you best have a word with him soon." he said. If that was all, then they would leave to the Palace.

Adrian's stomach nearly leaped out of his mouth; the thought of having to stay in Swavia was most unbecoming, enough to make the hardened veteran vomit. He said nothing to the Vessian knight. The Swavian Rebellion was in the past now, but the horrors of that conflict was still fresh in Adrian's mind.
It didn't matter at the moment; for now he would do as he was told and head for the Palace.

Some more Knights would be about there for Kiara too. The would ride on their usual route, until they noticed a body upon the the beach. The Gruppenfuhrer would dismount, running over and after checking for traps or danger, would bend over to try and get a pulse.

The man would sigh, putting the more or less limp body on a horse. She would be taken back to a guard house in a marina along the coast, and be put to rest on a hammock in a locked room. When awakening she would be in a dark room with one a small barred window. From outside Kiara would hear men talking, a faint sound of a fiddle and a horse neighing outside. When she was ready, there was a knocker on the door.

It took her a little bit to wake up fully. She felt very scared and uncomfortable. She would be awake for awhile before using the knocker, scared of who had her captive.

When she did use the knocker a lot of the noise subsided, and a single set of feet could be heard stepping towards the doorway. A hatch would open and a pair of bloodshot eyes would be staring through it. "Lingua." the man demanded.

There was angry muttering as the hatch was shut. After a long wait a slightly younger face would pop up behind the hatch, speaking a heavily accented variant of the common tongue; the man's Rs were exaggerated and he said his Ws as Vs. "'ho are you? Vhy are you here?" He demanded.

The man groaned, shutting the hatch and started whispering to the others inside. Eventually he thrust the hatch open once more. "You vant sveets?" he asked, clearly being told by a superior that "kids liked candy." Frankly, protocol didn't dictate what to do with kids found so the man was as confused if not as scared as Kiara

The hatch was shut again and then the door opened, the man putting a tray of miscellaneous candies and such, mostly butterscotch for ease of manufacture. After Kiara would take what she wanted the man would sit down in a crate in the room. "So? Vhy are you here?"
