Boris poured the goblin a mug. The mug was large, with a giant head of foam. The beer was weak, but it did the trick. "Well, there is a tournament going on now. There is still time to sign up in fact. If you are looking for something more, uh, interesting, you should talk to that man with the red cloth tied to his bicep. It sounds like he is hiring for a somewhat risky job." Boris gave Nnix her drink and then guested down the bar towards Asger. "But first, let's hear your story. Drink's on the house!" |

Riiiiight.. so you ever heard of a star fall? I'mean how often would y'a say flaming boulders rain out off the sky?
personally I was quite surprised by it when a rock the size of a' horse came screaming out -o- the clouds towards me. now whe'v all heard of sea serpents but I am now off the firm belief that at least one diety desperately want me ta die, cause not only had my day been interrupted by this rock , but no sooner had i lept aside [ i had a palm grove to launch myself from, you understand?] than this great scaly wyrm slithers out onto the beach and starts looking around. Now iv never seen a serpent of that size and this was the second, maybe third time iv ever witnessed the stars rain, and i'v never heard of stars trying ta kill anybody. So this 50' water dragon crawls out of whatever abyss its been sleep'n in for the last few centuries, but it then proceeds t'a take off with MY prey. Now I may have survived that big o'l rock hurtling out of nowhere, but i'll tell ya my stuff sure didn't. So.... that brings me to this. most of what I had was hard t'a acquire on the islands. This isn't the first time I've seen a mainland
but... I'v never though of staying as long as I plan to this time. Oh and ahh I don't endebt myself. Nnix puts a half silver coin onto the counter. she nods at Boris and walks on over to the man he suggested.

By this time Asger had moved to a table in a corner. As the goblin approached him he smiled. "Greetings, friend Goblin. It's been a while since I have crossed paths with one of your kind. But the deals I've had have been quite agreeable...for me. Sometimes it can be hard to hire other humans for the jobs I have in mind." Asger gestured to an open seat.
