The trees rustle, seemingly due to the wind. Obscura sits perched on a treetop, hidden by the foliage. Her keen eyes spot something shining on Kasey, and she grips one of her daggers tightly. Based off of the gleam, and the size of said gleam, it could probably fetch her a bed, and a hot meal. Perhaps even a shower. Kasey is aware of Obscura's location through her echolocation that she's doing as she dances with her upbeat tune. She begins to dance right towards Obscura's hiding spot. She grins under her mask cheerily wondering what the odd disturbance is. |

The shadow stepper's body dissolves into the bleak emptiness, as she finds the path that leads to Kasey's shadow. She looks at Kasey, for any potential weakpoint, from the safety of Kasey's own shadow.

Obscura ponders the best course of action, before stepping quickly into a shadow, her body twisting, distorting and conforming to that of the ethereal plane of shadows. The shadow stepper's body dissolves into the bleak emptiness, as she finds the path that leads to Kasey's shadow. She looks at Kasey, for any potential weak-point, from the safety of Kasey's own shadow. Kasey doesn't stop dancing but notes that the anomaly is gone, and this doesn't bode well in the night. She thinks for a second and calls out, "Oi, if ya are sentient come on out then!" Obscura herself can see that the armor is just basic, and doesn't cover everything. If she wanted to she could knife this person through a slit in the armor if she was quick enough. However it wouldn't kill her instantly, and would probably be very painful. |

Obscura throws her knife quietly, aiming the trajectory so that it would skit inside the slit of the armor, before she jumped into a different shadowpath, to a tree a few yards away. Once at that tree, she materializes, several shadowbolts coming out of her crossbow.

Obscura throws her knife quietly, aiming the trajectory so that it would skit inside the slit of the armor, before she jumped into a different shadowpath, to a tree a few yards away. Once at that tree, she materializes, several shadowbolts coming out of her crossbow. Seeing as it wasn't directed between the armor it ricochets off thanks to the shielding spell. Kasey jumps and creates an energy shield round herself instantly in retaliation, "Oi! What was that for?!" She looks in the direction of the bolts as they hit her shield and yells over, "Hey!" |

A shadow appeared behind Kasey, holding a knife to Kasey's throat. The real Obscura, only discernible by the red eyes, appeared in front of Kasey. Obscura pointed at the gem, then downwards, as if to say 'drop it'. The shadow finds that her armor covers her neck up pretty well. Kasey frowns underneath her helmet, and then chokes out, "How do I know...you don't just...leave...Seriously, you just stabbed me with...something...I shatter this, and I don't lose much..." |

Kasey sighs and gives a small grin under her mask, "Tricky little teleporter...ok, truce...sheesh, this thing isn't even worth that much..."
