A break in the thick, massive walls that enclose the city, two giant doors of heavy oak and steel are propped open by two sturdy, steel spikes as big as a man. Traffic here is slim as there are few farmlands outside this gate, and it is constantly manned on the ground by footmen as well as a small detachment in the guard towers on either side of the gates.
