Due to its tropical climate, this island is the only place that pineapples can be grown. The farmers know that, and all work together to keep the prices up. Jun and Calico arrived in their bubble (which apparently can also fly) and land on the shore line. Suddenly Jun feels weak in the knees and bends down. "Wow, I think I've exerted myself a little too much today."
Assuming Calico would appear concerned, Jun would say, "I'll be fine. I just shouldn't use any magic for a while. So, tour, how does that work?"

They join the tour group that is just leaving the main plantation house. Fortunately like everything else on this island it appears to be quite the casual affair and nobody comments on the couple.
The young plantation worker who is leading the tour stops by the first row of pineapples.
"Hello folks my name ia Greg ill be leading da tour. Now as ya probably already know pineapples are our primary export. This here is the only island in da world where they grow. The Carmela Exotic Goods Company owns this farm and this be the biggest farm on the island. It covers over 400 acres a land and employees over 200 people."
The young man leads you through the rows and you see many shirtless attractive natives tending the crops. Eventually you come out near a river you can see some complicated looking machinery and aqua ducts set up on the bank. The tour guide speaks again.
"This here be da Silver river largest source o fresh water on da island. As you can see the farm pumps out water directly from the river to tend the crops. The machinery uses a combination of gears, pumps, and magic tha I don't really understand. Sure is impressive though right."
He grins at the crowd as he says this little joke. Once again he sets off and once you are closer to the buildings he takes you to an open air bar. There are serving platters of fresh pineapple as well as a sign that lists various pineapple themed drinks. Greg says in that classic tour guide voice.
"Before we continue on why don't ya try some fresh pineapple or one of our signature drinks."

Apparently pineapples are something the Land-Tiller's expanse hasn't quite been able to master. "I swear I'm going to learn everything I can about growing pineapples." Jun turns to Calico. Greg gathers the people together and after you pay for your drinks the tour continues. You are lead into a large yard many crates filled with various pineapple related goods are stacked here and teams of horses are moving in and out. It is also close the river and barges are being loaded. In sharp contrast to most of the rest of the island it is clear people take work on the farm seriously. Greg speaks up.
"This be the shipping yard there are two ways pineapples leave the farm. First is by the river to da port so they can be loaded up for export. The other way is with the horse teams. Those are being sent to other local businesses who use the pineapples we farm here. The island produces a total of about 25,000 pineapples a year and 8,000 of them move through this yard one way or another."
Once finished Greg motions for the group to follow and he leads you into a large warehouse like building filled with brewing vats. Again dozens of workers are milling about. Greg gestures around and says.
"Of course we don't just farm the pineapples hear we also ferment them to make various pineapple flavored alcohols."
A bevy of buxom beauties come with tiny little cups filled various samples. As they are passed out Greg concludes.
"And that brings us ta the end of the tour, we have an on site store where you can pick up some of our fine products cheap. There is also a lovely restaurant in the main building you can get a meal at if you are hungry."
He then leads the group back to where the tour started.

As Jun and Calico make there way into the main building and locate the restaurant named the "Skewered Pineapple" you are quickly sat at the table and the rules are explained to you. Evidently there is a flat rate you pay and for that rate you get all you can eat, the rate being exorbitant. The couple will be served one of two ways, first there is a buffet with a variety of side dishes. Various vegetable, fruit based, wheat, and grain dishes are set out all expertly prepared. The main attraction though is the meat which is brought table to table fresh from the grill skewered on a sword. The main meat dishes are pork, beef, and chicken covered in pineapple glaze though there are also fish and different cuts of meat with a variety of seasonings. The main attraction the two are advised by the server and the best reason to save some room, is the grilled pineapple spiced with cinnamon.

Physical Description: Jun is a human adult, standing 5’4”. She is wiry and fit at approximately 120 lbs. She has olive skin, dark brown hair ending just above her shoulders, and slight epicanthic folds over her dark almond eyes. Her face is squarish with a small chin. Her skin is dotted with battle scars, and her left arm is heavily bandaged due to an unknown affliction.
Clothes and Equipment: Jun possesses a vast collection of seeds, herbs, insects, and scrolls hidden in various pouches in her armor. These serve as reagents for her multitude of spells. Her armor consists of a customized, long-coat style gambeson that is stuffed with a matrix of seeds and plant fibers. Fitted on top is a set of brass-like, enchanted half armor (chest piece, pauldrons, and tassets) which gives off a warm aura. She has an open-faced, burgonet style helmet and coif of the same materials.
Her most notable "weapons" are Blackbean and Resonance. Blackbean is an elephant-sized demon crow which has served with Jun for many years as a mount and as a bodyguard. A minor enchantment allows him to disguise himself as a regular crow. Resonance is an azure blue longsword with a mind of his own. He can intercept minor attacks and can teleport to his owner. He can also use a personal reserve of magic to aid in the casting of a single spell.

"Yah, she's the oldest of the Fletcher family. She lives in a huge mansion with many servants. She also looks after a significant number of their brood. I stayed with them for a few weeks and taught them some magic. In exchange she taught me how to cook."
She giggled. "They are so many of them, I'm tempted to think of that mansion as a queen ant's lair and her the queen... although I guess the analogy breaks down since she doesn't lay eggs."
Jun starts digging into the food.
"What are we doing tonight?"
