Physical Description: Standing at 6'4 Renaux is an imposing figure. He is well muscled from years of training and he has collected his fair share of scars. His auburn hair is kept short in a military style, and his face is clean shaven. He has a powerful jaw, mid set cheek bones, and a smooth brow. His blue eyes are fierce and determined, though there are smile lines in the corners.
Renaux was never supposed to be king he is actually the second son of the now deceased King Voltair. The former king and the crown prince Vyun both died in an a tragic airship crash three years ago much to Renauxs sorrow and anger. Renaux never held any aspirations for the crown and hated the thought of having things given to him. He entered the Académie Royale de le Pégase by winning the yearly tournament while posing as a peasant. He kept up this charade over his years serving with the Royal Air Force reaching the rank of Captain on his own merits.
He may have spent another few years in this guise but with his father and brother dead he was forced to ascend to the throne. Relatively unknown among the nobility Renaux has faced many challenges in the last two years. These turned the young military commander into a king whether or not he will prove to be a good one is still unknown.
Clothes and Equipment: Pretty much whatever he wants he's a king.

 he Académie Royale de le Pégase is the training grounds of the pride of the country their air mounted cavalry the Pegasus knights. The academy is under extreme lock down for most of the year since the majority of the students are sons and daughters of noble ladies. However for a week at the beginning of every year the Academy is opened to the public for the entrance tournament. Open to any person between the ages of 14-16 those who do well earn a spot in the Academy and the chance to become a Pegasus knight. |

Physical Description: A relatively average man in appearance, he stands at about 5'11", and 190lbs. Short, black hair with grey at the temples decorates his head. A long scar traces its way down across his left eye (eye color is brown) and down to his jaw. It is his only distinguishing feature.
Clothes and Equipment: He wears the uniform of the Commandant of the Pegasus Knights, adirned with numerous medals for valor in battle and personal accomplishments. A cavalry saber and shield, emblazoned with the crest of Gaulding, are the only other equipment he carries with him.

Commandant Lafayette sat at his desk, looking over the applications for next year's candidates to the Academy. His coat rested on the back of his chair, both feet propped up on his desk as he flipped through the multitude of scrolls, a glass of wine perched precariously on the edge of his desk near his feet. Two lanterns hung in the corner provided light for the room.
He reached up and grabbed the glass, taking a sip as he mused over the applications. 80% of them were the same vainglorious crap about the nobility of the Pegasus Knights and being the best of the best and all that. They just wanted bragging rights to their siblings and rivals or a chance to look heroic in front of a maiden. Such were the delusions of the young.
