This is a border thread for Goraia. Constructed by mages, a vast tunnel bores through a cliff and underneath a small mountain, to reach a pass on the other side. The monolithic rock face had been carved by powerful magics as a monument to Goraia's strength.
[The Tunnel is closed to the public.]

As Captain Fulk approached the border of the Medan Kingdom he could see the watch tower come over the horizon. As the group approached the tower Captain Fulk stopped the group and waited to be approached by the guards.

As the party approached, the guards met them and the nearest one said, "Greetings! State your business in the Kingdom of Medan."

Captain Fulk looked at the guard, "I am Captain Fulk of the Knights Errant. I am tasked by Godfrey of Tyric the leader of the Knights Errant and Lady Feruzia with escorting these people of the past Kingdom of Verri to the Future Princess of Medan." He then waited for the guard.

The guard nodded and then sent one of his comrades to take the message to the necessary person. It would take some time, but that one would return with the message that they could pass into the kingdom proper. One saluted the other, and then the guard addressed the party, "You may pass." And with that, they were allowed to enter.

"I think we have a visitor," one of the two guards said in the upper guard room of their tower, looking out from one of the archer slits while playing a game of chess with his counterpart, who stood up and looked out. "What the... what's this? A deer?" "Stranger things have happened.. but I think it might be possessed." They both went downstairs and exited the tower to.... greet the deer? "Ah, 'ello there fella," one of the guards said.. "you a little lost?"

The guards looked at each other for a second, then the one who first spoke to the fellow turned his head, brow raised, "What is your business in Medan?" They both seemed curious as they regarded the deer... elk? Person? With stares.

Physical Description: Race: Sidhe (Pronounced like 'She.') The race is humanoid in figure, but with skin made of a fleshy plant fiber. Some areas, particularly on their shoulders, elbows, and knees are rougher and more barky. Some of her clothing seems to grow straight from her body, and her hair is a long collection of vines that seem capable of their own movement.
Hair: Green-Brown vines that fall below her waist. She tends to wear it loose, flowing down her back and past her hips, but the strands seem to move of their own accord sometimes, as if they were their own living organisms.
Eyes: Pale Purple
Build: Muscular, but not overly so, and just a bit taller than the average human. She appears strongly built and a bit stocky, though still capable of moving lithely among the forest and its rough, branch-covered terrain.
((The race is loosely based off of the Sylvari from the Guild Wars universe, but looks more similar to the Sidhe, an earlier race concept for the Sylvari, also from Guild Wars. Google them!))
---
Clothes and Equipment: Much of her clothing and equipment is made of plant material, and some of it even seems to be grown straight from her skin.
She has what would likely be considered leather armor were it not made from plants, a sturdy fabric that offers a bit more protection that cloth, but certainly not as much as metal. The main coverings are of thick plant material adorned with leaves and amber-looking gems. This has been fashioned into a top with elbow-length sleeves and which falls to just above her belly button, as well as a pair of leggings. A belt of vines holds in place two thinner pieces of plant fabric: one which falls to about her knees in front, another which is just slightly shorter in back. She has gloves, boots, and some small pauldrons fashioned from a more bark-like material.
Saoirsoe's weapon of choice is a spear of hard, old wood with a point fashioned from what appears to be crystallized sap. Similar to her clothing, the shaft of her weapon is adorned with a few vines wound around either end, and a few amber crystals fitted into knots in the wood.

Saoirsoe made her way towards the city's gate with her bow and arrows slung over her shoulder and her blades sheathed at her side. The mess of vines that composed her hair fell down to her lower back. For all intents and purposes, she might resemble a dark-skinned human from far off, though her skin, upon closer inspection, was actually greenish in color and not smooth like the flesh of men. It was covered in veins and overlapping portions, like leaves and flower petals over her limbs, and her various joints resembled the bark of trees.
She approached slowly, looking at the guard tower with pale green and awaiting recognition. She wore a neutral expression. She was maybe even a bit bored.

Indeed, it may have been a long forested trek towards the borders of Medan, as the pathway grew more and more visible and trodden, and eventually, paved with cobblestone. A tower stood sentry at the crest of a hill representing the border of the kingdom. Saoirsoe looked pretty unassuming, and would have no trouble passing the guards. They'd nod silently and allow her passage, returning instead to their quiet conversation among themselves. She was free to go past them.

"It is customary to be appraised before entering the premises of this city, yes?" She had a somewhat proper manner of speaking. She regarded the guards with a similar blank expression to that she had held earlier.
"I assume to keep any ill doing party from infiltrating it."

"Thank you."
She heads off into the city.

"Where... where am I?" the girl in red tribal dress and short pigtails said aloud to herself in her childish voice, wonder and a kind of dazed absent-mindedness undertones of her frequent soliloquies as she accompanied herself on a very long journey. Here, she found herself waking from a long slumber at the base of a shadowed tree, along the side of a cobblestone pathway. The girl stood, appearing oblivious, looking around at her surroundings for a long time after standing up. "Ughh..." Her limbs felt heavy, her mind foggy. She began walking, slowly at first, down the road towards a lone guard tower in the distance. Eventually, she'd arrive, passing by nonchalantly if allowed.

Upon seeing the young lady, a concerned guard moved down the stairs and out to the lass to meet her. "Hello there, miss... Are you well?" He looked upon her with a canted head, hand poised in gesture to indicate he was speaking to her since there would be people passing by every now and again. "Is there anything we can do to help?"
