Isran Trading Company Docks
Far from the southern province of Isra is a breakage in the cliffs of the northern coast. Scouting ships of the Company went ahead, three days of reconnaissance finding them this diamond in the rough. Arriving back to the main fleet, the captain of the expedition sat withLord Perceval, describing to him the route and how to most efficiently guide the fleet of ships to the beach. Forward Unto Victory at the head, the fleet made its way north.
With rough seas and cold breezes, the Marines and Sailors were instructed to wear their winter uniform, given that they were now neck deep in the cold season. With a strong breeze, the ships and the Company made their way, losing no hands in the month-long journey. They passed many other ships, thrice encountering other Company patrols. Turning the heavy ships into the natural port of the break in the cliffs, Arthur and his men quickly set ashore to build docks and warehouses.
The building took nearly a month, but the port was completed. Sinking great logs into the ocean, they built docks long enough for the warships, stretching far out into the deep water. On the land, houses and warehouses were constructed, for the sailors and their families, and for free-lance merchants looking to rest and recuperate. Two platoons of Company guards were deployed to protect the port, from threats on the land, and thus two barracks were built as well.
One inn stands further inland, though close to the sea, another investment by the Company. Standing three stories and boasting the wares of the Company for sale, it can be used for rest or resupply.
As the docks are guarded and kept maintained by the Company, the first stake of Isran foreign influence was made upon the north-western shore of Audria. Though open to other merchants, the bustle of ships carrying the flag of the Company is far more likely to be seen. It is, after all, what they were made to do.
