The Eastern borders of Aaedan are constantly barraged by barbarians from the east. All along the border are watch towers and patrols. The fighting in the region has lulled thanks to Optio-Legate Ozmidas' campaign to route out enemy encampments just outside the borders.

Rain fell across the land and the dead rose with it. Heroes of old, men and woman who fought and died along this border would come to life. Skeletal and horrific, rusted weapons and armor. They would make a massive formation. Three-thousand plus undead stood in a massive rectangular formation. They began their march toward the city.
