Watching over Sakand atop a mountainous and craggy perch, the behemoth tower of Tallak Ka Ara now shone bright, an almost blinding blue orb swirling atop the ancient structure.

Climbing down from the top of Tallak Ka Ara, where the brilliant orb of blue now shone like a bright lighthouse in the night sky, Satrage made his way down steep flights of cracked marble stairs, deep and expansive corridors and chambers, and numerous twists and turns. He was retracing his steps through the complex, through which he had to navigate it's various puzzles, traps, and challenges to reach the beacon at the top, which he activated with the magical scepter. Now, it was time to revel in the fruits of their labor...

Aside him was Klearia, his accomplice, who had helped him bring life to the city of Sakand every step of the way. Already, they were beginning to see some very acute differences under the setting sun on their way back down. As they reached the base of the tower, water gushed unchecked down walls and dripped from cracked ceilings in torrents that hadn't existed before, flooding passageways and breaking the silences of Tallak Ka Ara's depths with the white noise of rapids that churned down the rocky inclines upon which the tower and city were built. In rare instances, candles of every color and glyphs in various passages flickered to life, glowing on their own in isolation. While the city had received significant, ruining damages during the cataclysm, much was beginning to return under the fiery auspices of the new resonator. At last, they had reached the exit, and looked on over the multi-tiered city in the twilight. Massive waterfalls were not the only change that brought sparkles to the breathtaking scene before them; fairies, thousands upon thousands of them, like rainbow stars reflecting off the newly gushing channels and streams, had returned to their home.
"Satrage... isn't it wonderful?"

Malinda
New
Even the night terrors should have something to fear.
Roleplay posts: 9
Physical Description: Malinda's true form is a fully mature, adult female dragon. She measures nearly four hundred feet from the tip of her tail to her maw, and a hundred feet tall from claw to spine when on all fours. Her scales are a flat black, reflecting little light even at the height of noon. With a wingspan twice her length, and with webbing so thin as to be translucent, she appears to be a sleek and slender, clawed, flying death machine. The apex predator.
While her true form is quite a sight to behold, she prefers to deal with the lesser races in other forms. Though dragons can shape-shift at will, she often prefers a human or elven guise, hair and eyes always of the darkest, inky black one could imagine.
**********************************
Clothes and Equipment: As a dragon, she needs no physical equipment.
In humanoid form, she can often be found in an elegantly cut dress of dragonscale or leather, sometimes caped and hooded.

But all was not wonderful. Perhaps as a result of the activation of the resonator, the triggering of an alarm, or mere coincidence, something, somewhere stirred in its slumber.

Here atop the tower, Klearia stood hesitantly before what had become known as "the Lighthouse." She could hear his voice in her ear.
We have your sister. We will kill her if you don't do it now.
Suddenly, she removed the magical artifact that powered the Tallak Ka Ara. All of Sakand would suddenly go dark, the magic fading from the air and all the lights, environmental spells, and everything else would shut off...
