The northern half of the island is a mirror opposite of the south - nowhere vibrant despite how alive the land is. The forests become extremely damp like bogs the further one goes into the territory. The mountain range extends around the north and west to enclose the territory in addition to running the east, and has a lake that runs dark into a river through the middle of the bog and branching off towards the west. The realm is usually damp with an unnatural overcast that never leaves and never breaks, casting the place in a permanent darkened state and always raining - sometimes a mist, a sprinkle, or occasional downpours.
