Town of Lavigne

Mina crept alongside the buildings in the direction of the sounds of struggle. It was dark, and she tried to stay out of sight.

After a few minutes she'd see her lizard friend duking it out with what the hell was that?! She gripped her sword tightly and pressed against the corner of the building. It took every ounce of strength she had to not start hyperventilating. After seeing that thing, and the body of the cop, she immediately regretted her decision. What could have possessed her to come out here in the first place? She immediately decided to turn back. What kind of person did she want to be? A potato farmer suited her just fine.

But as she was leaving, she stepped on a twig, which broke with a loud SNAP! She froze. Oh no...

Big Squeeze's limbs slap Starman around and after a few hits they unravel more and grab Starman's head. Big Squeeze reels himself in making it's power higher and takes hold of Starman's head, starting to twist it, trying to snap his neck and pop his head off.

Mina swiveled around just in time to see Doobie's strange ethereal guardian get strangled by the massive flesh creature. Her face is in total shock. She wants to run, but she can't. She doesn't know what to do! Doobie might have saved her life. He was her only friend in the world. Everyone else was dead.

One of her hands curls into a white-knuckled fist which she presses against her forehead.

"Kkkchhh..." After a moment. he shunts her hand away from her face and to her side. "GrrrraaaAAAAHHHHHHHH!" She grips her longsword with both hands and sprints towards Doobie's stand. It may cost her her life, but she wasn't going to die like a coward. She was going to try to cut through the tendrils before they could suffocate Doobie. She would attempt an almighty swing despite her lack of experience with the sword. "HIYAHHHH!"


Mina didn't realize it, but when she had flung her hand to her size, a small ethereal object went flying out of her hand. (Charge 1) Floating just above her was another shadowy form, a female humanoid. one of its hands was on Mina's shoulder. The other was in the air.

"Urrrgh!" Doobie continues to fight back. He too sees the small balloon looking object and wonders what it will do. The Stand master is relieved now that Mina has shown up and her stand seems to be trying to fight! What can this stand do though.

"No, but I'll bet they can hurt you!" Mina didn't even know where the courage to say those words came from. Her initial boldness had a snowball effect; further emboldened, she charged straight for Kath Kull...

What nobody was privy to yet was when Mina had summoned the courage to join the battle, she had inadvertedly entered a pose which triggered her latent stand's power.

The object she had thrown was an ethereal die.

There was a powerful rush of wind and light. Mina wasn't even aware of where it came from, nor did she care. Too busy charging to her doom, she assumed Doobie must have done something. She barely noticed when three glimmering orbs appeared, hovering over the tendril which had constricted itself around 「Starman!」. In a brief moment they solidified into medium sized latex sacks. Without any warning the sacks exploded into bursts of light and kinetic energy which, if left unchecked, would blow「Big Squeeze!」's arm into smithereens.

This was the power of the Pulse Balloon Trio!

Mina continued to rush recklessly at Kath Kull. But she wasn't alone. Hovering above her, now fully formed, was「Luftballoon!」.

Doobie clutches his neck and catches his breath. He still maintained Starman's presence, watching for Big Squeeze to make a move. Looking over at Mina, he can see that her stand has manifested completely and it seems to have explosive powers.

The sword slices through Kath's neck and it slowly falls backward, still attached by some flesh in the back, blood sprays out of his throat and his head falls off and hits the ground. Big Squeeze fades away as his master dies.

Slash!

With a smooth motion 「Luftballoon!」slices through his neck.

As Mina is still standing there,  trying to figure out what just happened,  「Luftballoon!」turned around and got on one knee. She presented the sword to her in her face up palms as if it was a gift to a king. Not sure what else to do, Mina takes it.

「Luftballoon!」fades away. 

Be the person you want to be. Be braver. Be a hero.

Mina then falls to her knees. She is completely exhausted. "What... What just happened? I wanted to kill him but, I also didn't.  But I did, but I... I...-"

Mina threw up all over Doobie's feet.

"Echh! Gross! Uh, it's okay Mina. That was the hidden potential I was talking about, it's called a Sta-" Doobie can't continue though as he witnesses Big Squeeze emerge again. It's about to kill Mina as it's last act!

Doobie snarls and roars at Big Squeeze, Starman flashes out of Doobie faster than ever before. "「STARMAN!!」"

Starman unleashes a flurry of enraged punches, blowing chunks of flesh and bone away, he would continue to pummel Big Squeeze until it's vitality ran out completely.

「STAARARRARARRARARARARARARARARARARARARARAARARARRARARAARARARARARARARARRRARARARAARARRARRARARARARARARRARARARA STAAAARAAAAAAA!!!!!!」
