Kitsu

Age: 24
Physical Description: Kitsu is a small and very young Kitsune spirit. Even though she has been around for around 24 years, her appearance and behavior are close to that of a 7-8-year-old.
She can appear in several forms but will mostly appear as either a baby fox that would be hard to recognize as being a spirit. Or a young girl with strawberry blond hair and matching ears and a single tail behind her. She will wear a small kimono as well and little sandals.
In both forms, a chiming sound might be heard as she moves.

Kitsu lifted her little head up to Ketsueki and her small dark beady eyes would look up right into hers. Something that seemed like a smile appeared on the little foxes face.
"No need to say sorry, kind lady." her tail would wag back and forth as she sat down on her back paws. "My name is Kitsu!" she said chipper.
The voice would still appear directly into Ketsuki's head instead of coming from the fox's mouth. From time to time it would be accompanied with the small chimes that she had heard before.

This was, indeed, a kami. But she didn't seem mischievous, rather friendly and sweet. Perhaps she was a very young and pure spirit. Just hearing how it spoke, and those chimes - now knowing what they were - made a faint smile tug at her lips as she began to relax.
"Ah... it's an honor to meet you, Kitsu-san," she would reply quietly, dipping her head a little in a small bow. "Well, what... what brings you here, and to appear before me?"

The atmosphere was bustling with activity. As guests of varying classes and status of wealth arrived up the steep ascent to the mansion atop the rocky hill, servants were preparing space for festivities, cleaning the grounds, and rearranging furniture within the structure to accommodate all the people. One room had been converted into a sort of temporary musical conservatory, where musicians and geisha practiced their instruments and acts ahead of the main event. While the innermost chambers of the compound were still tightly sealed and guarded, still allowing a safe retreat for the Hizashi family, much of the grounds were now made open to the public.
Today was to be the day of the wedding between Lord Genji and Sayuri Hirayama, further securing his place at the helm of the clan, and marking a quick public holiday where those lucky enough to have been invited could relax for the evening.

Roleplay posts: 24
Age: 33
Physical Description: Takahasi , while not very tall makes up for this fact with presents .
The warrior only stands at five foot, four inches, yet still manages to look down the nose of the Menpo mask he commonly wears.
Takahashi had the misfortune of being disfigured by bandits simply for amusement.
He was forced to "drink" fire, this caused burns to the lower portion of his face and nose. Aside from the permanent reminder of human crulty, Takahashi would have been a rather attractive man with strong features, now the only predominate feature are his Green eyes.

It had been a while since Takahashi had stepped foot in the mansion... The hard wood folks , the stone pathways, the man made pond all things that greeted him like a warm welcome from a distant family.
the Aging man's steps where slightly shorter than normal, more abrupt to the deft eye, but the expression painted in the man's eyes was one of complete and utter peace despite the turbulence of his mind. How many weeks had he been riding with his band, clearing the roads of filth, both literally and metaphorically... How many men had he lost? Guilt raced over his mind as he could not recall the name of several of his dying men... Nor could he even see their faces in his mind's eye, just blurs like fish in a murky coy pond...
The plain white menpo hid as much of his face as his eye hid of his mood. None would be the wiser of the weight he currently carried, save for those close to him perhaps.
Standing over the pond he gazed at the cherry tree, lost in thought.

The garden and courtyard was a peaceful setting at this time of year and Zu Fu found that he was increasingly happy to go explore the mansion. The gardens were a great place for meditation and the courtyard equally good for pondering and thinking without too much stress to the mind. Zu found the most peculiar little spirits all over the place and with a simple bow he would greet them whenever he came upon one - the same way he greeted the servants and samurai that roamed these streets.
Suddenly however Zu Fu stopped as he noticed another soul - this one clad in human hide looking tranquil to at first glance. However the spirits around him seemed to tell another story one of sorrow and grief as he stood there at the pond and looking at one of the large cherry trees. Zu Fu put his hands on his back as he walked up besides Takahashi in his own pace. He took his time glancing over the pond enjoying its stillness in contrast to the ever changing shape of the tree before he addressed Takahashi.
"I see a strong man who laments his choices." Zu Fu said informally and first now got to get a look at the white menpo that covered the samurai's face. But Zu Fu was an elderly guy and could thus get away with a lot of things the young people couldn't. "I am Zu Fu - an old man Lord Hizashi was so kind as to let stay here for a while." he said with a grin. "... and you are?" Zu Fu asked and mused. "I seem to remember people talking about the frightening samurai with the menpo - could that be you?" he asked curiously while continuing to balance the fine act of being polite while also quite cheeky - perhaps the skill he was most proud of.
