The darker part of Balerno ridge also holds a lake, though it certainly is less desirable. With the never ending overcast, the place is constantly riddled with snowstorms and the temperatures low, leaving much of the lake in ice. This, too, feeds a main river over a waterfall and down below. Despite this, certain choice creatures reside in the massive span of water. Seated in the middle of the lake is an old structure on a tiny island, which is home to a large tribe of snow harpies with little tolerance to anything besides their own.
