For the opening of The Triathlon, the Arena has been done up in grand fashion. The Imperial flag waves from every available post, both guardsmen and soldiers of The Imperial Army are out, armor polished to a shine. Many carry torches, for the ceremony is to be held at sundown.
Some have opted to only attend the competitions, but still, many spectators have crowded into the arena. Aside from the noise, there’s a certain sense of anticipation and excitement. For the majority of the attendees, this Triathlon is shaping up to be one of the most interesting things they’ve ever seen.
The field is conspicuously empty nothing is present yet, but the word is that there’s going to be some manner of a show.
